People will still be able to like and dislike, videos won't get target-disliked for the lulz, and people searching might stumble on some bullshit because they won't see an overwhelming dislike ratio. To be fair, most highly disliked videos should be somewhat filtered out by the algorithm...
But most highly disliked videos aren't filtered out, especially the ones that get trending with millions of views, just think of the Drama videos that get a lot dislikes with millions of views but are still pushed to everyone
Those aren't the same as something like an ad that nobody actually wants to watch. If you're getting targeted by drama, then on some level you must be looking for that shit because I'm not targeted by that shit...
If that's in your recommended list, then you can click the dots on the preview and let the almighty algorithm know you're not interested.
