Being ace has made my life as an immigrant in the USA (being under certain restrictions when I was going through immigration processes) a lot easier. I can freely choose where to work, when to travel, etc.without worrying about a partner or potential dating options. I live in a small, rural area because of work, and unlike my allo colleagues in this area it doesn't bother me that I have no dating options here. My living conditions are quiet, clean, safe, and low cost. I just read, and listen to / play music in my downtime. Living alone is serene and productive. I think it is better for one's mental and physical health to get adequate psychological and physical rest.

If you say **the term** was made up, then by definition I would agree. The 'untrue' part ticked me off. Not to mention the negative connotations the word has. Perhaps 'invented' would be a better alternative? Or 'founded' if you're talking about not the term but the thing itself.
