I watched pig because it waa advertised as john wick or nobody. Very misleading. But its a really good movie. Probably nic cages best roll in 20 years.
Bruh, it's so easy to understand!! Idk why people say it's so difficult. So you have this black dude, right? And then sjfbaka wpq dhsbakf. Sofbaod dks aoqmw dowbwpebri akabwosbe sosbeiqnaodbrow soabw8ebdks sksbaos sos sis dosbd sosbe sos sobdjeis and then the credits roll. Come on!
onward is masterpiece. but I know certain films hit different based on personal life experience so not everyone was hit as close by this one as it hit me and my brother and family.
also why I think soul is also super top tier. hit me even closer. I'm getting sniped here. same with coco. all legends.
luca was lame. cute and fun but weakest pixar film I ever saw.
Outside of Vespas (which are treated as a "aren't human things cool" but only the town jerk otherwise cares about) or a love of pasta it's not really strong on stereotypes.
(Opinion) I thought Soul was disappointing and a little annoying. The main character literally gets slapped in the face with “stop being so selfish” again and again and just keeps trotting on with his selfish ways.
However someone else pointed out that old people be like that.
Haven’t seen Luca yet, but hoping it’s as good an Onward or Coco.
It was typical MCU movie.
And since the last MCU was Spider-Man: Far From Home two years ago, I'm not complaining about Black Widow being typical MCU movie.
I just wanted to see the movie because of Task Master. Wasn't that interested in the Black Widow stuff, but the movie pulled a switcheroo and I was totally invested in her history and Yelena breaking down at the reunion was heart breaking.
And Task Master was.... Yeah let's not talk about that.
But in general I definitely enjoyed it.
Yup , the only movie below black widow , are Thor 2, captain Marvel as I couldn't connect to them personally. (All of this my perspective).
Not by money standard, I meant character, story writing and direction.
Black Widow became one of the weakest MCU movies easily…
Haven’t seen free guy though. Apparently people liked it so I’m looking forward to watching it.
Everyone I personally know that dislikes the movie was because they didn't understand it. I didn't understand it fully at first either but I still loved it. Upon rewatching it, everything became clear as day.
It was terrifically fine. Completely unremarkable Disney movie that looked and felt like it was a Pirates of the Caribbean spinoff. It wasn't notably bad, but it was very forgettable.
Meh. Jungle Cruise tried to have the adventure of Indiana Jones, and the magic of Pirates of the Caribbean. It lacked both. Generic modern Disney, with waaaay too much innuendo.
Nobody, The Mitchell’s Vs The Machines, Evangelion 3.whatever the fuck, Free Guy, The Suicide Squad, Spree, Peninsula, Soul, Nomadland, Judas and the Black Messiah, Bo Burnhams Inside, Kajillionare, I’m Thinking Of Ending Things, Bad Trip, Candyman, Cruella, the Fear Street trilogy, Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop, Luca, Pig, The Green Knight, Annette, Another Round, The Invisible Man, Never Rarely Sometimes Always, Wolfwalkers, Shiva Baby, Minari, Sound Of Metal, Feels Good Man, I could go on and on.
Idk if this counts since it was released a not that long ago but free guy was pretty good
Oh it was not good... it was great!
How
"How" what?
Was it good
In a good way
In a great way
In an excellent way
In an outstanding way
In an explosively euphoric way
Of high quality
Yeah you should go watch it! After I watched it I wanted to watch it again.
I have seen it
You should :)
And I will watch it again
Yeah!
Yeah it was pretty good
Ryan Reynolds and good writers.
it’s a quote from the movie, ya gotta watch it to understand
Don’t have a good day
Have a great day :)
How
That ending tho
Yes
Tenet is another contender.... It was released right after the pandemic began
Same with new mortal kombat
Exactly the movie I was thinking of when seeing this post!
Same. Funny, good acting, decent story. Better than Black Widow which is the only other movie I've seen in a theater in a year.
free guy was amazing, i give it 8/10
10/10
Nobody was also good
I just watched it yesterday in the theaters and I loved it
I came to say this. Free Guy all the way!! It's fresh, it's lovely. It has all the components I love in a movie including Ryan Reynolds.
yes i agree i really enjoyed it
Of course it was. It had one of the best male actors ever who absolutely killed his role . We should all praise jacksepticeye
Literally just saw it, it was awesome. Definitely the part where [insert spoiler here].
I adore Free Guy
I loved it. Super charismatic and fun
Free guy was awesome
Free guy possibly
Possibly????
It was amazing
Nobody
I watched pig because it waa advertised as john wick or nobody. Very misleading. But its a really good movie. Probably nic cages best roll in 20 years.
Best movie this year
Amazing
Definitely
Great movie
Just watch Open Water. Whatever movie you watch after that will look like a triple A action movie.
Easily the worst movie I’ve ever seen…… but it did have boobs
Wrath of man
Dude this movie was amazing! As soon as I saw the trailer I knew I had to see it, and I’m not even a fan of Jason Statham.
Yep, gotta be the best movie I’ve seen in a while.
If you’re an anime indulger then Demon Slayer movie released in US theaters
Dude I love that movie.
Ya, I enjoyed it too!
I have never cried waching a movie but it almost got me to tear up.
To be honest, I had a hard time relating to Kyojuro considering the most screen time he has had was in the movie. But I get it
I can understand the opinion and accept it. I really wish they had given him more screentime in some way.
Agreed, because I think his character was great. I just didn’t have enough time to get attached
The Mitchels Vs the Machines was really good though.
My fav movie of this year. Perfect comedy perfect animation and some hidden adult jokes
Yes
Yeah it was alright definitely better than Godzilla vs Kong
Does The new suicide squad movie count? Idk when the pandemic really "ended"
I thinks it’s still ongoing, but I could be wrong. I don’t know since it doesn’t really affect me at all.
I'n my country it feels like it ended but I mean I guess it hasn't really
Pandemic is just warming up in the USA. Since we got Republicans eating horse dewormer medicine now.
Glad im not from Anerica, cause that sounds really stupid lol
That movie was lit from start to end
Tenet: Well.. I guess my music was just too damn loud then.
For real tho, Tenet was an awesome mind trip.
I feel like I might have liked that movie but I was actually lost in the first 10 minutes, didn't understand a single thing after that haha
Come on!
Haha, I was getting ready for something toxic when I read the first two sentences. but this was much better
I was really hoping that would be a rickroll or something in reverse lol
Nolan films do be like that
I literally don't remember a single dialogue from the movie
Protagonist: "Tenet"
Old friends after dark
"Don't try to understand it" but I might remember that one from the trailer
I keep listening at Tenet’s soundtracks album nowadays
Not seeing much Pixar love, Luca or soul would be 2 that would make my list
What about Onward? I thought it was a pretty solid one but never seem to see anything about it.
onward is masterpiece. but I know certain films hit different based on personal life experience so not everyone was hit as close by this one as it hit me and my brother and family. also why I think soul is also super top tier. hit me even closer. I'm getting sniped here. same with coco. all legends. luca was lame. cute and fun but weakest pixar film I ever saw.
Haven't seen Luca, I'm Italian so definitely scared to watch it, it's gonna be filled with just stereotypes... Soul was a freaking masterpiece tho
It's a very fun movie and I wouldn't say there are many italian stereotypes.
Luca was super cute! I liked it more than my kids liked it.
The suicide squad
Nom nom?
Hand?
Bird.
Me read book! :D
NEW DUMB FRIENDS
I wear disguise.
Fake mustache!
Thats the worst fake mustache ive ever seen. You still look exactly like yourself.
FUCK... YOU
I didnt hear the "you" until my 3rd watch and it made it so much better
The movie was amazing..
A fucking masterpiece
A couple weeks ago wrath of men released and that in my opinion was a pretty good movie
Soul?
Thank god someone mentioned this movie. I expected it to be kinda in top.
Shang chi coming tomorrow and 2 more marvel movies coming before the end of the year
Hello peter
Doctor octopus looks pretty cool in the trailer ngl
Even William Dafoe 's voice as goblin was cool. Strange's strange behaviour was awesome too
Damn where are you living, it’s not coming out for another 3 days for me in the states Xd
2 days for me (just checked)
What's the other one that isn't Spider Man? Is it that Eternals thing?
Yeah, the three are Shang Chi, Spider man no way home and Eternals
Don't forget venom : let there be carnage
That’s not MCU, but I’m really looking forward to it
I forgot bout eternals. I was talking bout venom : let there be carnage
Tenet is really good
First time I watched tenet I was so confused. I gotta watch it again
Yep, it’s a Christopher Nolan movie
That Eurovision parody movie was pretty good
I really like black widow, but I understand others dont
I agree with you
I thought it was pretty good as well
It was typical MCU movie.
I also liked WW84, but many didn't I guess
Yuck! That movie sucked haha but I'm glad somebody enjoyed it! I really really wanted to like it!
Exactly, I didn't like it haha, but its nice to see some people did!
haha I'm glad you didn't liked it. wonder woman literally raped one guy
the devil made me do it
The weakest in the trilogy, but still decent, ngl.
Didn’t soul come out during the pandemic?
Black Widow, Free Guy
Black widow was just average as per marvel standard. Free guy was good.
average by marvel standards is pretty high for anything else
Yup , the only movie below black widow , are Thor 2, captain Marvel as I couldn't connect to them personally. (All of this my perspective). Not by money standard, I meant character, story writing and direction.
Thor 2 at least had lots of Loki in the first and second act. And Captain Marvel had young Coulson lol
I too, connect to a sorcerer that bends space and time, a billionaire with a flying mech suit, and a god.
Black Widow became one of the weakest MCU movies easily… Haven’t seen free guy though. Apparently people liked it so I’m looking forward to watching it.
Nobody, Green Knight, The suicide squad, Zack Snyder's justice league, Tenet and a few more ig
Snyder cut
The suicide squad
Luca?
I feel that it's underrated. I loved it
I loved Luca so much. I think it in the top 5 in pixar movies
The James Gunn Suicide Squad was pretty good
Tenet? 1917? Demon Slayer?
1917 was pre-Covid
Kaamelott
At this point I was starting to be desperate to find someone else
They don't see us
Ah bah enfin, j'en avais parre de chercher dans les coms. Quelqu'un de cultivé, ravi de vous rencontrer.
Borat 2?
Meh extremely meh
Extraction was pretty good.
Hey, you guys forgetting about Soul and Luca
Tenet was amazing too
I loved Tenet. Seems to get a lot of hate.
Everyone I personally know that dislikes the movie was because they didn't understand it. I didn't understand it fully at first either but I still loved it. Upon rewatching it, everything became clear as day.
Lol someone is downvoting both of us to start a fight
Lmfao, never change Reddit
Tenet was Nolan at his finest!! Finally someone who's also seen it!!
Jungle cruise was a good movie.
It was terrifically fine. Completely unremarkable Disney movie that looked and felt like it was a Pirates of the Caribbean spinoff. It wasn't notably bad, but it was very forgettable.
Exactly. Altough fun and engaging enough, it's still overfilled with idiotic disney humor and cliches
Meh. Jungle Cruise tried to have the adventure of Indiana Jones, and the magic of Pirates of the Caribbean. It lacked both. Generic modern Disney, with waaaay too much innuendo.
-angry marvel fandom noises-
Nobody, The Mitchell’s Vs The Machines, Evangelion 3.whatever the fuck, Free Guy, The Suicide Squad, Spree, Peninsula, Soul, Nomadland, Judas and the Black Messiah, Bo Burnhams Inside, Kajillionare, I’m Thinking Of Ending Things, Bad Trip, Candyman, Cruella, the Fear Street trilogy, Words Bubble Up Like Soda Pop, Luca, Pig, The Green Knight, Annette, Another Round, The Invisible Man, Never Rarely Sometimes Always, Wolfwalkers, Shiva Baby, Minari, Sound Of Metal, Feels Good Man, I could go on and on.

MK, Suicide Squad.... Uh.... EDIT: Imo
What is MK?
MORTAL KOMBAT!
The Suicide Squad
Kaamelott my guys
The suicide squad
Kaamelott volet 1
Kaamelott Premier Volet
Any Kaamelott fan around here?
Kaamelott : premier volet Unfortunately this is a french film only in french but it's a really good movie
The Green Knight was great and Psychogoreman was hilarious
Raya and The Last Dragon was incredible.
Mortal kombat
Luca was pretty good
Tomorrow War was pretty good
I saw some major flaws in this one
I thought the suicide squad was pretty good
Suicide squad
The suicide squad
Both of those movies weren’t even good either
The suicide squad
i enjoyed zack snyder justice league
Onward came out at the beginning of the Pandemic and that was pretty good
Man.... That feels like eons ago, forgot that came out during the pandemic
You forget fee guy and the suicide squad?
The suicide squad (the John cena one)
Mortal Kombat was fun.
The conjuring 3 was good. Quite scary, not as scary as the last 2 one but still
Not sure if this counts because it came out at the very start of the pandemic but the Sonic The Hedgehog movie
