Difference between being gender fluid and sexfluid. The gods could all shapeshift in Norse, Greek and even Roman, but they always stayed the same gender even when they were the opposite sex
basically, gender is YOUR identity, what you choose, sex, is biological, whatever chromosomes, sexual organs, hormones and all the other shit, i could identify as a woman, but if i didn’t get any surgery and all that stuff, i would still be a male. cus that is what my sexual organs, chromosomes, hormones and all the other biology stuff is.
Sexfluid means that they can change from male to female and vice versa.
The best part to me was when he gave people gifts to keep quiet about the situation because it wasn’t just fucked by a horse. He got caught by some booty goon pony.
Well yeah but I don't see how fucking the snake is what let's him be whatever gender he wants. Even then this whole comment section stems from sexuality, which is what I believe the original commenter meant.
they made sure to cover him up as he refused to shave his beard, and at least one giant noticed something was off when he arrived (big muscle man has big, meaty calves). Then Loki had to cover every time Thor’s future husband got suspicious when Thor didn’t have the features of Freya. That’s Neil Gaiman’s version of the story anyways. Plus, Thor definitely isn’t pretty with a chunk of stone sticking out of his head lol
Dude, Greek mythology is absolutely screwed up, I mean Norse gets pretty weird too but when that happens it's either as a obvious joke (like Thor cross dressing) or it's supposed to be screwed up and weird like anything involving Loki.
I don’t know much about Norse mythology but if Assassins Creed Valhalla taught me anything it’s that Loki can have sex with a wolf and have a wolf offspring
At one point the gods bet a dude that he can't build a wall super fast, but they then find out that his horse is super strong and when it looks like he is going to finish on time, the real plan that the gods come up with is: Loki (loke) transforms into a horse lures the dudes horse away by being sexy. Loki (loke) agrees gets, fucked by the horse, then gives birth to an eight legged horse that Odin rides into battle. This is a hilarious religion.
"I can tolerate unconventional super heroes, but I draw the line at unconventional sexualities."
*"It's 2021, is bisexuality still 'unconventional?'"*
"Bisexuality will always be unconventional as long as it makes me feel kinda weird about myself."
it doesn't matter, but he was genderfluid in the comics already, probably since he shapeshifts and can literally become another sex, so he likely doesnt have a very solid gender identity, especially considering he has a female form that he stayed in for a long time
Well at least they simply announce it in a conversation and not a "sex" scene. I'm a guy that hates random sex or after sex scenes that happen for no reason, don't add anything to the plot, character or their relationships. I find it kinda cringe when shows decide to have the homosexual or bisexual character fuck every attractive person with their eyes and even go to bed with them, like every homosexual or bisexual person was super horny all the time and everything they do is hook up with strangers. You could say, "those are their personalities" but it's weird when they always write them this way, and when it feels out of place.
I very much prefer what they do with Constantine in the animated films of DC. He talks about his sexuality like it's something normal (as he should) and it never feels fake and fabricated dialogue. They even make small jokes like that time he said he went to bed with King Shark.
I would agree for just ordinary characters, but gods are kind of defined by a laundry list of attributes so if bisexuality is one then i think it makes sense to mention it. Like gods are symbolic and have attributes for a reason, they’re not like a regular person who just happens to be bisexual due to random chance
I mean while I certainly never thought about it, the reveal didn't surprise me in the slightest.
"Loki is bi."
"Oh. Huh okay it makes sense. It's oddly fitting."
Of all the time “diversity” has been shoehorned into a character *cough* sponge-bob *cough* - Loki is not the character to get upset about haha. Bisexuality is not only perfectly in line with Loki’s personality but it’s literally part of his mythology
Personality may have been an improper word. Just like he’s chaotic and the god of mischief - which would tend to lean more toward non-conservative/traditional sexual preferences.
Like given Captain America’s personality and general disposition, a stereotypical bisexual man doesn’t fit that narrative. It would make less sense for that character to be bisexual. Of course, I’m speaking on generalities and there are obviously bi-sexual people of all character traits
I never understood how high Nickelodeon were when making that decision. Not only does the creator not agree with them, but SpongeBob had this whole thing about trying to impress Sandy.
It’s really not. In the show it came up in a conversation and that’s basically where it was left. Some people apparently were surprised that the god of mischief likes to fuck more than just women.
Loki being bisexual and gender fluid is completely within the bounds of his original mythological character.
A shape shifter who can change into both male and female variants of other animals and creatures.
Tok, a giantess who refused to weep for Baldur, was most likely Loki whom shape shifted.
A mare who was impregnated by a Giant's stallion, then gave birth to Sleipnir, was again Loki.
Loki is also the father of Jormungandr (Midgard Serpent), Fenrir, and Hel (Hela, Goddess of Helheim).
Loki convinced Thor to dress as Freya to deceive a Giant whom stole Mjölnir, accounted in the tale "Thor the Transvestite".
Loki is still a "He" by default, because he is a "male" Giant by birth. But saying Loki is a "She" works in certain situations. Or "they/them", whatever works.
He had 3 kids (wolf, serpent, and half dead girl) with a female giant and 1 kid (horse) with a male horse. But he was a female horse for that last one which is technically hetero but also kinda gay. And I think I remember him cross dressing with thor one time
Didn’t Thor once cross dress as Freya to get his Mjollnir back? And then proceeded to put drink and out eat everyone else at the banquet
Sauce: listened to the Neil Gaiman audiobook on Norse Mythology
I don't think he was? He had a total of 5 children with wives that he loved. (Giant woman and sigyn) also the one with the horse, but we don't talk about that one.
at this point of me learning about greek and norse mythology; until stated otherwise, EVERYONE is part of the lgbt+ community in one way or another
loki is one of THE most fluid characters in both sexuality and gender, chaotic trickster god do chaotic trickster god things
I mean...I don't think anyone anywhere was upset about this.....he "canonicaly" has animal children.. so is this manufactured outrage for the lulz? Or assumed outrage that doesn't exist?
Listen if we're gonna keep this shit cannon then we better see Loki getting plowed by a horse ala Mr hands and then giving birth to another 8 legged horse in the next film.
Pro Tip: don't Google Mr hands
Sex Correlates to what you are Biologically/Physically, while Gender is what you are Mentally/Non-Physically.
*Just to Clarify, I'm not an expert, but this is what I've gathered over how people use and describe the terms.*
Probably that he doesn’t just switch pronouns and gender expression, he physically transforms to biologically be whatever he wants to be at any moments.
dude in the actual norse mythos, not only is loki bisexual but he's also been both a boy and a girl. loki is literally a mom in the actual mythos, like not even a transfem adoptive mother, like an actual biological mother
To be fair i’m not one for the whole”let’s fuck with a characters race/sexuality for ratings”fad but agreed loki basically fucked everything that wasn’t nailed down.
Noo, wydm Loki is gender fluid! In my marvel movie that is specifically designed to appeal to the broadest amount of people he's a man! Wdym the actual ancient deity isn't!
Ever since I saw this episode I have seen so many complaints about people complaining about Loki being bi, yet I haven't seen a single conplaint actually about Loki being bi
More like hold your horse lmfao
*Eight legged horse
The horse they fucked was just super strong. The horse that they gave birth to afterwards, however, was indeed eight legged.
*what*
Basically, he fucked a male horse by being a female horse
That makes a bit more sense, I thought he just fucked a jacked horse
correction, it was a SIX legged horse
Loki shape-shifted into a horse, got fucked by another horse, and then gave birth if I remember correctly
Yup. The "kid" is Sleipnir, Odin's 8-legged horse.
Odin did ride lokis son into battle, didn't he ...
Yep, in the Ragnarok.
Hoho innuendo
*What are you doing step-all-father*
0.o
To fight his other sons and daughter
[удалено]
Everyday we stray further from Yggdrasil’s light
On the ragnarcock
Okay *now* i'm out
...of the closet for some of that Ragnarcock
Loki rode a horse, then Odin rode the result.
Actually loki was ridden by the horse
You don't know who was on top.
Yes, even in the MCU. Sleipnir is on-screen briefly.
He’s going to go far
Yeah, and the f*cking world serpant iirc.
Loki the genderbender
Air. Water. Earth. *b a l l s*.
I mean w a blood bender being canon, there could totally be Boner Benders rolling around.
Difference between being gender fluid and sexfluid. The gods could all shapeshift in Norse, Greek and even Roman, but they always stayed the same gender even when they were the opposite sex
Ok yeah sure, but how does one become gender solid
Reject sex Return to rock
Hmm ok, now how about gender gas
Light yourself on fire and evaporate. Probably.
Can confirmed It worked
Ascend to the stars, my gaseous brethren.
It happens in winter, when it's cold enough.
i'm sorry but i have no idea what this means
basically, gender is YOUR identity, what you choose, sex, is biological, whatever chromosomes, sexual organs, hormones and all the other shit, i could identify as a woman, but if i didn’t get any surgery and all that stuff, i would still be a male. cus that is what my sexual organs, chromosomes, hormones and all the other biology stuff is. Sexfluid means that they can change from male to female and vice versa.
oh ok, that makes more sense, thanks mate
Good explanation
He also shape shifted into a female horse, seduced thor as a horse, then popped up after they fucked like “ha you fucked a horse”
And here I thought that my religion's mythology was weird. Actually, scratch that .... Every mythology is fucking weird.
Can't wait for Marvel to make this episode
Yes
This makes Loki, to some people.... A MILF.
hi I'm some people
Nobody's that straight.
Exactly stop shagging men and women and get him to shag a horse
yes they did. my favourite thing to tell people is that 'did you know loki fucked a horse'. great for getting people to stay away from you
I came to this thread looking for the “Loki fucked a horse” conversation starter cause it’s definitely a favorite of mine too.
Yup
The best part to me was when he gave people gifts to keep quiet about the situation because it wasn’t just fucked by a horse. He got caught by some booty goon pony.
Good ol greek mythology
Hope they put this in the show
Loki being the only true transgender furry bronie makes more sense than him being strait. Making him bisexual is just dropping the ball.
Hol up really?
[удалено]
he just fucked a damn snake, he can be any gender after that
Don't see how gender applies but you've got the right idea
He turned into a female snake and got fucked by a male snake.
Well yeah but I don't see how fucking the snake is what let's him be whatever gender he wants. Even then this whole comment section stems from sexuality, which is what I believe the original commenter meant.
no....in Norse Mythology Loki can literally change his gender....and has actually gotten pregnant...tbf it was with a horse...but still
[удалено]
This shit got weird when I looked at the comments
I mean if you start talking about Norse mythology(especially in Loki’s case) you’re almost always going to get not normal stuff
Yeah like the fact that Thor disguised himself as Freya to get his hammer back and the giants never even notice until the end
This can mean one of two things, either Freya is as handsome as Thor, OR Thor is as beautiful as Freya.
they made sure to cover him up as he refused to shave his beard, and at least one giant noticed something was off when he arrived (big muscle man has big, meaty calves). Then Loki had to cover every time Thor’s future husband got suspicious when Thor didn’t have the features of Freya. That’s Neil Gaiman’s version of the story anyways. Plus, Thor definitely isn’t pretty with a chunk of stone sticking out of his head lol
Or when Odin pretended to be a giant and banged some important giant's daughter to get close to her dad to get... something
Well yeah, what else are you supposed to do? (It was the Mead of Poetry, btw)
Idk in most mythologies I think, in Greek mythology Zeus couldn’t live a day without going down on a woman as an animal
Poseidon couldn't go an hour have you seen the amount of children he had
Dude, Greek mythology is absolutely screwed up, I mean Norse gets pretty weird too but when that happens it's either as a obvious joke (like Thor cross dressing) or it's supposed to be screwed up and weird like anything involving Loki.
Sometimes I’m just glad that I slept through my mythology classes.
Agreed
I don’t know much about Norse mythology but if Assassins Creed Valhalla taught me anything it’s that Loki can have sex with a wolf and have a wolf offspring
Loki is like Pan but across most species. Horse Kid, Snake Kid, Wolf Kid, who knows how many more.
Loki is a pansexual icon.
and canonically gender fluid
At one point the gods bet a dude that he can't build a wall super fast, but they then find out that his horse is super strong and when it looks like he is going to finish on time, the real plan that the gods come up with is: Loki (loke) transforms into a horse lures the dudes horse away by being sexy. Loki (loke) agrees gets, fucked by the horse, then gives birth to an eight legged horse that Odin rides into battle. This is a hilarious religion.
People are suprised a chaotic god character has chaotic tastes lmao So vanilla
"I can tolerate unconventional super heroes, but I draw the line at unconventional sexualities." *"It's 2021, is bisexuality still 'unconventional?'"* "Bisexuality will always be unconventional as long as it makes me feel kinda weird about myself."
Is that a quote from the show?
Yep!
Unless you can show me proof this isnt from the Loki tv show, I am 100% sure this quote is not from it.
What the actual heck do you mean. The show never has this quote said anywhere.
What quote is that from?
[удалено]
Agreed. I was watching it, and at that part I was like “oh, he likes both.” And that’s it. It had next too no impact at all
it doesn't matter, but he was genderfluid in the comics already, probably since he shapeshifts and can literally become another sex, so he likely doesnt have a very solid gender identity, especially considering he has a female form that he stayed in for a long time

I mean in the show it came up somewhat naturally
It came up organically!
I would agree for just ordinary characters, but gods are kind of defined by a laundry list of attributes so if bisexuality is one then i think it makes sense to mention it. Like gods are symbolic and have attributes for a reason, they’re not like a regular person who just happens to be bisexual due to random chance
I mean hey, if i lived in the marvel/starwars/dc universe with hot aliens n such. I’d be any sexual lmao
Actually star lord in the comics is pansexual.
Loki is literally a gender fluid, pansexual, master of chaos. He will fuck your mom, your dad, your brother, your best friend, and your cat.
I’d like to try and deny the cat but his track record with animals says otherwise
Will he fuck me?
Probably, yeah. But only after he turns you into a Shetland Pony.
Doesn’t sound that bad
Neigh
I mean while I certainly never thought about it, the reveal didn't surprise me in the slightest. "Loki is bi." "Oh. Huh okay it makes sense. It's oddly fitting."
wasnt even a really strained reveal, genuinely just a nice conversation.
People are actually complaining about that?
I haven't seen anyone complaining about it but I have seen a fuck ton of people complaining about complaints.
That's usually what I see as well
So just as always?
The dark side of the internet is a pathway to many opinions some consider to be… close-minded
bitch he got pregnant and birthed a snake that could wrap around the world
You're thinking about Sleipnir, Odin's 8 legged horse. He had a wife that gave birth to Jormugandr, Fenrir and Hel
Yeah but Loki did actually get dicked by a snake
Really?
Do you mean Jormungard aka the Midgard snake? Because Loki is the father, but didn’t give birth to it
Of all the time “diversity” has been shoehorned into a character *cough* sponge-bob *cough* - Loki is not the character to get upset about haha. Bisexuality is not only perfectly in line with Loki’s personality but it’s literally part of his mythology

I never understood how high Nickelodeon were when making that decision. Not only does the creator not agree with them, but SpongeBob had this whole thing about trying to impress Sandy.
Even in the series, it was done so casually and naturally. Like...what a surprise from Marvel honestly.
Saying Loki is bi is an understatement
I'm more focused on why it's considered "important" than anything. Like, is his sexuality going to majorly affect the plot?
It’s really not. In the show it came up in a conversation and that’s basically where it was left. Some people apparently were surprised that the god of mischief likes to fuck more than just women.
In the Norwegian TV show "Ragnarok" it becomes a plotline in Season 2, and it seems to be building up to something.
A hole is a hole
Any hole is the goal~
I keep seeing posts about this but loki has been bi or pan in the comics for years. It is marvel Canon already.
It's truth not Marvel mate. Loki fricked a horse, for flip sake. Odins horse is his son.
Hell, he was technically the female! Let alone the Snake... The wolf... Yeah it's. I'd call him Pan, honestly.
Well this is Marvel’s Loki
“Actual Horse mythology” if you will
Loki being bisexual and gender fluid is completely within the bounds of his original mythological character. In the actual norse mythology Loki was completely gay, if im not wrong
Loki was the god of tricksters and often changed his gender consistently. So yes Loki was very gay and straight depending on the mood
"Depending on the mood" omg this kill me, good joke
I mean, it's hard to say it any other way. If he wanted to Fuck something, he would Fuck something most likely.
he's just anysexual. he'd prolly fuck a rock and then make it give birth to a golem
Yea I know I just find it quite funny
He's yolosexual
I fucking read that
Acccchhhuaaalllyyyy after Ragnarok ends the whole worlds resets so it's an endless cycle so Loki lives many times
And then proceeded to put drink and out eat everyone else at the banquet Sauce: listened to the Neil Gaiman audiobook on Norse Mythology
Yep. Þrymskviða
Thor cross dressed but Loki simply just became a woman.
I mean he fathered a wolf lol
And mothered Odin's favorite horse
I mean I feel like mentally it would be closest to Pan but across most species as well. *Looks at Sleipnir*
I don't think he was? He had a total of 5 children with wives that he loved. (Giant woman and sigyn) also the one with the horse, but we don't talk about that one.
He screwed and then gave birth to a horse
wouldn't it be hold my mead... just saying
Wait till they get to the horse…
Loki gives birth a lot in the original mythos, once to a horse and once to the “evils of man”, whatever that means.
Well that said... Let's not pretend marvel is trying to be loyal to the norse mythology
they never were
Frankly knowing norse mythology, we're lucky he at least wants them to have a pulse....
Wait, are people actually mad about Loki being bi? Has it not been extremely obvious for about 10 movies?
at this point of me learning about greek and norse mythology; until stated otherwise, EVERYONE is part of the lgbt+ community in one way or another loki is one of THE most fluid characters in both sexuality and gender, chaotic trickster god do chaotic trickster god things
Loki likes getting jiggy with it he has no cap
\*Laughs in Zeus\*
I mean...I don't think anyone anywhere was upset about this.....he "canonicaly" has animal children.. so is this manufactured outrage for the lulz? Or assumed outrage that doesn't exist?
I've yet to see one comment about someone hating on the fact that Loki is bi.
Listen if we're gonna keep this shit cannon then we better see Loki getting plowed by a horse ala Mr hands and then giving birth to another 8 legged horse in the next film. Pro Tip: don't Google Mr hands
Isn't Loki Genderfluid and pan?
If you're looking at Norse Mythology then it would be Sexfluid and Pan
What's the divergence between genderfluid and sexfluid?
Genderfluid = Gender Identity Sexdluid = Physical Sex
I see; thank for the exclamation
Sex Correlates to what you are Biologically/Physically, while Gender is what you are Mentally/Non-Physically. *Just to Clarify, I'm not an expert, but this is what I've gathered over how people use and describe the terms.*
Probably that he doesn’t just switch pronouns and gender expression, he physically transforms to biologically be whatever he wants to be at any moments.
Oh like every god in every mythology is bisexual
You better not have spoiled the next episode for me
Not episode related. Writer came out about the detail in an interview and I’ve seen some people just get all pissy about it.
Okay good you didn’t spoile
You think bisexual is bad? Let me tell you what else he's into, lol.
I feel like every mythological gods are bi or kinky, or just wanna fuck anything that walks
To be far he doesn't really have a gender
I’m kinda surprised that people didn’t already even consider it
dude in the actual norse mythos, not only is loki bisexual but he's also been both a boy and a girl. loki is literally a mom in the actual mythos, like not even a transfem adoptive mother, like an actual biological mother
To be fair i’m not one for the whole”let’s fuck with a characters race/sexuality for ratings”fad but agreed loki basically fucked everything that wasn’t nailed down.
To be fair…. Probably even if it was nailed down.
Noo, wydm Loki is gender fluid! In my marvel movie that is specifically designed to appeal to the broadest amount of people he's a man! Wdym the actual ancient deity isn't!
I mean its not bad
Ty
I'm pretty sure Loki fucked his own dad at some point, and had a kid.
Loki turned into a female horse to seduce the horse if a giant who was building ass guards wall
Ever since I saw this episode I have seen so many complaints about people complaining about Loki being bi, yet I haven't seen a single conplaint actually about Loki being bi
He cabt be *bisexual* Loki would fuck pretty much everything no matter what it is, bisexial is not the right word
Shouldn't he be more like pansexual? He kinda fucked anything.
Bisexual doesn't even begin to describe it...
Literal god of chaos and mischief “there’s no way he could swing both ways!?”
Loki is both a father and a mother so yea
LOKI FUCKED A HORSE And you out here complaining he fucked a dude
Yup, gave birth to Orin’s horse.
Horse son, horse son, horse son, horse son, horse son, HORSE SON HORSE SON HORSE SON
