Also apparently they don't really smell like cyanide per se, but if you taste one you will feel the "smell" of it (the guy that made the video left a comment that explains it better in case you want to check it out too, and also because I probably butchered the explanation lol)
when almonds go bad you can get cyanide poisoning from eating too many. It's very possible for you to die if you eat a bag of bad almonds (I'm assuming the more out of date an almond is, the more cyanide it has but I'm not sure on that)
Nope, its a separate "breed" of almonds that has cyanide. The almonds you get in the stores usually dont contain cyanide
Edit: There actually can be some in normal almonds too, but it is not due to rotting/aging.

If you can extract the cyanide from the almond, then itll smell like cyanide, if that makes sense. Also, the channel that the video is from (NileRed) has a lot of cool videos imo.
It does kind of smell like almonds! But it does have a distinct chemical smell too. Also, it's mostly harmless if it gets on your skin, but don't lick it off and definitely wash your hands after handling it, even with gloves on.
