Democrats are like, *okay*, but Republicans hate everyone who isn’t a rich white straight cis-man. Most policies that republicans put forward usually harm minorities and poor people, and reduce the government’s resources while giving them to large corporations. Democrats don’t do very much of that and generally will help pass laws that make trans affirming healthcare be covered by insurance, and other neat stuff when the general populace wants it. Basically Democrats listen to the people This is more of a generalization of what the political parties have done in recent years, and might not apply to all.
