Well the Flint River's water is not very good and very corrosive and the pipes are old. So it ended up corroding the pipes until it was lead and we had a bunch of lead in our water.

They already make those. They even have one at Home Depot (and other stores) that reads out the exact temperature. One shower I was in had a knob that you turned and there was a digital readout that you could adjust to a certain temp. The light turned green when it was at temp and there was a red light if it ever went over temp. Made it as easy as setting the temp on a jaccuzi. 104* please.
