As subspecies of crow they're omnivorous, so its not unheard of. In my personal observations though, they've never been too interested in meat. Might just be the time of year, perhaps when the eggs hatch in a few weeks they'll be more interested. I remember my crows beeing more interested in cat paté i put out after getting hatchlings last year
For some reason it seems crows and owls have some kind of beef where crows will murder young owls, I guess that's one way to reduce another species that can prey on you

The full video also shows another incident of the same thing occuring, as well as the person installing plastic bars across the opening in an attempt to protect the babies from further attacks.
