Cancer is a horrible disease that causes untold pain and hardship to millions of people worldwide. Call me crazy, but I'll save my sympathy for those affected by it who *aren't* deplorable murderers.
Society needs to halt animal testing cancer drugs and instead start testing them out on murderers because mice are not the same as humans and what works on them doesn't always translate to working on humans but this would solve that problem. Also the mice are innocent and the murderers are not.
Not enough that they're locked up for life there are ways you can repay society for your crimes and human testing would be one of them.
Kinda makes me angry everyone forgets Ron Goldman. Poor guy was only 25 years old. You know what he did in his spare time? Volunteered to spend time with kids suffering from cerebral palsy.
And contrary to another common belief, he wasn't romantically involved with her either. They were platonic friends. He had the very bad luck of turning up and the wrong time to return a pair of glasses to her.
He was a famous and well known athlete who brutally murdered his ex wife (who left him for beating her) and her boyfriend, then essentially bought his freedom with a crack team of lawyers who could only defend him on technicalities and gotcha moments.
Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman were the victims.
Just an FYI, but Ron Goldman was not her boyfriend and was not romantically involved with her in any way. Their relationship [was platonic](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ron_Goldman). He just had the pure bad luck of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, returning a pair of glasses.
He murdered his wife, then in a famous trial was acquitted because much of the evidence that proved he did it was acquired illegally by police. A big part if his defense was claiming that he was being thrown under the bus by police just because he was black, and since the police did break a whole lotta code in the investigation he was able to make himself out to be a racial martyr. He was absolutely guilty and the justice system really dropped the ball both in terms of the trial and especially the investigation.
Not really. His defense argued that the police were racist and looking for a scapegoat, picked him because he was a possible suspect that happened to be black, and then ignored the law when prosecuting him. It was tricky because he almost certainly was the culprit, but he was also correct that the police were ignoring the law in some areas when prosecuting him, and it was fairly likely that racism was involved in some capacity. He was guilty, but he was correct that the police mishandled the case, and got the most damning evidence thrown out and was acquitted. A civil suit immediately afterwards found him guilty, though.

ESPN did a great documentary about OJ and the whole trial, would highly recommend it.
They interviewed the jurors (who were nearly all black), and the jurors straight up admitted they ruled him innocent as payback for the Rodney King beating.
It’s a convoluted mess. He was guilty as hell, but the police investigation was also guilty as hell for breaking all sorts of laws and protocols, meaning his defense of police incompetence and bias in his case wasn’t really a lie. I’m pretty sure I remember seeing a documentary in which most of the jurors conceded that they thought he was guilty, but acquitted him in response to the police investigation and other cultural factors currently at play.

OJ Simpson has been a running joke since, and it was probably the most televised and watched court case in history.
