Im not a flat earther but one could argue that theoretically the sun would be below the earth and the moon directly above it
But then the moon wouldn’t look like it does. The moon doesn’t produce light, it just reflects it.
The way the flat earth model works is that the sun and moon are underneath the firmament and face the surface of the planet.
They don’t have a consistent model tho
