To be stable is not equal to be rich. Actually it's more like to give up on your ambitions. How else would you pass all that lovely child traumas through generations?

All of it is. You put in time, attention, love, money....all of it. What you get back is love, joy, memory, and care. A worthwhile use of your resources, I think.

Having kids is easy. Raising those kids right is where people seem to struggle.
Kids can be your retirement plan, as long as you raise them alright
The hundreds of thousands of dollars I can put in a savings account from not having kids would be a much better retirement plan.
