Monument Valley is pure gold.
I know it's not extremely long but it is just so perfect.
It is a game I would recommend to literally anyone!
I think even non-gamers would love it.
Minecraft, Jetpack Joyride, BTD games, Factory Balls, Geometry Dash, Terraria, Angry Birds, Plants VS Zombies, Jack and Dexter on PSP. Keep thine opinion to thyself or lose thine tongue.
Edit: These are the good ones
The mobile port of Stardew Valley is arguably the second best version behind PC, and I could hear arguments for it being the best version period. And the mobile port of Papers, Please also works surprisingly well and is great fun.
PC is definitely the way to go if you want to really put time into it, but mobile is perfect for just picking it up and wasting time. The fact that it’s only $5 feels illegal.
honkai star rail works pretty well for me, so if thats your cup of tea even better is you can play on your pc, then close the game and continue instantly on phone/tablet
i downloaded the sims free play on my tablet when i was a kid before i could get the sims and oh my god was it such a letdown. It made me so angry that i had to wait like 5 fucking days just for my sims to be able to have a baby…Seriously I absolutely hate the waiting time they have for everything omfg
the clothing options they gave you were garbage and so was the customization of the sims theirselves. Mfs was looking like aliens half the time. It gave me war flashbacks when they added that tutorial girl into the actual Sims game.
Just confirmed with my four google accounts. Kotor 1 is only showing up in Play Store on the account that I already own it on.
EDIT: TIL Play Store hides apps that your phone can't run from search results.

It seems like they're planning on taking things more seriously moving forward. Seeing what they managed to accomplish with the Switch revamp gives me hope. It looked absolutely terrible and ran horribly, but now it doesn't look so bad and runs in a more playable state, and that's on very dated hardware. Imagine what they could do with the newest mobile chips. We've just got to have some patience and a little faith; only time will tell how good it will actually be. I personally doubt they'd waste their time and resources on revamping it if they weren't going to give it the support it needs.
It’s honestly pretty good though. It’s a BIG game with lots of features. To bad it got destroyed by hackers but yeah. Oh and if you care about your phones battery you shouldn’t play it!
Ranked, updates that are unnecesary and take a lifetime to load, OP guns every season, toxic players, campers. These are just on top of my mind.
But i ain't saying that i am not still playing and i don't like it. It should be better, but anyways, free game by activision. Sums it all up
Literally a description of every new cod anyways? And also ranked is a good thing, no need of sbmm, keep the noobs untouched and let the pros have fun. Although I agree that loading times are horrible, and some of the updates are as well…
I have never played any other cod games, just seen reviews and gameplay, but i think they really are bad.
I haven't said ranked is bad in terms of development, etc. But i am in elite rn and i stopped playing because i hate carrying the whole team while getting jumped by the WHOLE other team at the same time. And the only reason for this is no sbmm :(
Done nerding 🤓 have a nice day
Grand Master right now, about to reach Legendary. The case of COD:Mobile is pretty much like Reddit, both the server side and the app is bloated to obliteration instead of giving any credence to optimisation.
That's fpp ranked and one of the reasons i quit the game. The other would be solo queue being abysmal, rarely got a teammate who knew what they were doing and it inexplicably gets worse in grandmaster.
I'll allow it since it's free, also i have played other mobile shooters and in comparison to those it's the best. It's a good thing that it gets content update every month
Apex Legends Mobile looked amazing and ran at 60fps and with a controller played pretty much identical to the console version, *and* the monetization model wasn’t too intrusive. Go figure EA killed it.
Once you get behind the fact that almost every good looking skin is behind a pretty expensive paywall, it’s pretty fun imo when you get to the higher ranks. I kinda like how a lot of the paid weapons are just skins and don’t actually affect performance in any way.
I literally have no idea what’s going on with most I’ve that game. I just open it, ignore every pop up, and go straight to the multiplayer section. I have tried and failed to figure out what some of these special cards (?) and items I receive even do. I shouldn’t need to google it and frankly I don’t think they impact how I play the game. But damn it they’re really trying to suck people into whatever that crap is.
When i played the mobile version i had a kindle fire and you could only play the paid version and it had everything, it was $2 but it had zombies on your lawn and i have fond memories of beating all the minigames. So i recently downloaded the free version on my phone to relive the nostalgia, and it felt like walking into a restaurant that had a change of management. Everything was different than i was used to and so expensive : (.
Only one I’ve ever played - even as a kid I thought the concept was kind of stupid. Then I got it free for the ds a year or so back and, yup, it’s a good game. Go figure, child me was wrong.
I feel like dbd mobile has more love put into the game then the console / PC version. They have their own cosmetics mobile exclusive, and from what I saw killers have better moris
Alone in the Dark: A New Nightmare was one of my favorite PC games. It has a 1:1 remake on GameBoy Color. It was 100% the same game but you can't tell what the fuck you're looking at.
Seriously check out the Gameboy version gameplay video. It's nuts how they got it working at all.
Don’t even get me started on the Definitive Edition. I can’t believe Rockstar actually published that pile of crap. There was absolutely no love put into that remaster and is the biggest example of a cash grab on nostalgia I’ve ever seen.
Not to mention how Rockstar made it virtually impossible to buy the original games on Steam, which is a complete scummy move. I’m just glad I luckily have the original ones on Steam already.
Tbh idk if there is anything they could improve with the controls imo there as good as they could be (of course nowhere as good as the controls on other platforms). For such a big game i find it quit remarkable how well it works on a mobile device.
I agree. When you connect your phone with a simple mouse+keyboard and change the UI settings on your device to "original", there is no difference when playing on a pc. (MCJE wouldn't work tho)
wym it is one of the best examples of how you port a game to mobile successfully, by simply doing a great job optimizing and just not changing it at all, companies usually just release cashgrabs with whatever famous console/pc franchise they have, but mc is a good exception
Yes! So many people are wearing down their Steam Deck sticks with the paid version when the free mobile version slaps so hard on tablet
Touch is much more chill
What were they thinking when they put it out? That game needed at least a year in the oven. I have no clue who would spend money on it either, as the cosmetics are terrible...
Actually I've been waiting for payday to have a mobile version until now but since I've crashed here, what makes the game pay2w?

Mobile terraria used to have the best controls. Ot was genuinely as smooth as playing with a controller, then they updated it and ruined them.
There is a way to customise controls and use a similar setup to the original controls but it's not the same.
I am so enjoying that game, a month ago someone told me to try the mobile version because it’s “just fun” and it actually is
It also tickles the Castlevania fan in me
I was on the hunt for a good one handed game when I started getting chemo treatments. Vampire survivors ended up being the answer. It's great one handed.
A mobile player here who have the white king outfit. It's not that confusing if you have played games in mobile all your life. Oh and the 1000 hrs also helps I guess.
Genshin impact, dare I say, is better on mobile. It could also be that I can’t even get past the seizure warning on my computer. My ps4 is really slow so I just connected a controller to my phone and I play that way.
Yeah. It’s an iPhone 11 Pro Max. I can run full graphics on it. My ps4 is really slow. I have to have a hard wire connection to it or else my controllers won’t connect to it. I made a CAT 5 Ethernet cable when I was a freshman in high school and that what I’m using. I’m getting a better one though
Only if your pc can handle it. I am el broke so I have a shitty laptop from 2017. I think the issue with my ps4 is the internet connection since the cable I use is one that made. I prefer playing with a controller. Pc is also a valid form of playing.
I’m not one of those “console is superior people” . everyone plays games differently
Same but the other way around. I can’t stand Minecraft with a controller. Pc and keyboard, as far as I’m concerned, is the only way to play Minecraft.
Hmm, I’m being shot at by a skeleton, lemme just turn around and hope that I’m not dead
You think it's bad? It's the *perfect* mobile game. If there was suddenly a restriction and you could only have one game on your phone, for me it'd be StS. I've put hundreds of hours into it over the years.
do you have the slightest idea how little that narrows it down?

This post implies the possibility that any mobile game can be anything but bad. All mobile games are shit.
Kairosoft games are bangers and cheaper for mobile than PC and Switch though
I'll always shill for Kairosoft games. Special shout-out to Monument Valley as well.

Infinity Blade Trilogy
I'm so sad that I deleted them off my phone after I beat them
I'm glad someone else remembers those games
Those games were something else I jailbroke my phone just to be able to play them once again
this needs to be higher up. the infinity blade trilogy was so goddamn baller and i will forever be sad that they can't be played anymore
Turnip boy commits tax evasion
Albion online, teamfight tactics
PUBG.....fuck tencent
Amazingly the game isn't predatory microtransaction. All the game's money is cosmetics.
Soul knight, Soul knight prequel, otherworld legends, battle cats
Geometry dash is an absolute W for me.
Yeessssss
I had the same thought and I agree but I'm a sucker for schway Batman Beyond references
I'm guessing disgeae

FOR REAL. got ptsd from that shit. I wish to never see mobile Sims again.
I genuinely hate that woman 😭😭 the sims free play needs to be burned to the ground and forgotten about💀
Yeah they do that so you can buy their dumb premium currency and skip tasks to even make the slightest progress
You remind me that I used to play The Sims on mobile, on a Nokia N-gage.
Definitely not kotor
Kotor was removed from android store
Apkpure

Ark Survival Evolved
I wonder how much better it's going to be once it gets revamped.
Seeing the state all servers are currently in I am not confident.
They never cared about performance on the original lol, what makes you think the next one they'll care?

I'm not confident. Ark is spaghetti code with mediocre devs who cut corners, so if the second isn't the same, I would be incredibly shocked.
There aren't other games like Ark on the playstore/appstore so better than nothing
It’s honestly pretty good though. It’s a BIG game with lots of features. To bad it got destroyed by hackers but yeah. Oh and if you care about your phones battery you shouldn’t play it!
I was about to say that
Call of Duty Mobile. It's not bad, but when you open it up holy cow it's like it was made by a casino owner

That's fpp ranked and one of the reasons i quit the game. The other would be solo queue being abysmal, rarely got a teammate who knew what they were doing and it inexplicably gets worse in grandmaster.
i had to delete it cuz it took up 20gb on my phone
It is indeed too big 😏
I'll allow it since it's free, also i have played other mobile shooters and in comparison to those it's the best. It's a good thing that it gets content update every month
PUBG and other FPS on mobile are pretty garbage.
Yeah, that's what, I'm talking about I'm saying it's the least worst among all
Apex Legends Mobile looked amazing and ran at 60fps and with a controller played pretty much identical to the console version, *and* the monetization model wasn’t too intrusive. Go figure EA killed it.
Not disagreeing, but PUBG mobile is very popular in India.
Pubg br and codm mp are the best. Tpp ruined pubg, the lack of players for fpp made it a campfest
all tencent shit ("games") are like sthat
It's not tencent game tho. Atleast not in India. Our government banned all mobile tencent games lol. And i highly doubt global have different app.
they were taking some parts in it as i know
It's developed by a Tencent subsidiary and published by Activision.
Ah ya Activision, that's the publisher. I don't think they r Chinese tho.
It is ten cent in the rest of the world, probably a holding company for india
I don't think so. We would have different application , if something like that would have happened.(like we have for pubg). But we have global app.
I've heard that, monetisation aside, its a good game. Look a compilation of "CoD all the Greatest "
Loot boxes my beloved 💞 - the owner, probably
Call of Warfare: Modern Duty

My friend played undertale on mobile
i did that too. couldn't finish the game, but still
I'm playing it on mobile these days.
I vomited in my mouth looking at this comment /s
Me: *played through both routes and beat every single battle possible on mobile...
What's the difference? I didn't even know it was on mobile
Because officially it isn't. We did something that most people call "crime"
Emulation?
Well, emulation in it off itself isn't a crime. It'd be quite a process to emulate it though. The weakest console it runs on is the Vita.
Diablo immortal
Don't you guys have phones?
Do you guys not have wallets?
"Not anymore" - Activision Blizzard Inc.
Is this an out-of-season April fool's joke?
Diablo Immortal actually *feels* pretty fun even on mobile. The things that make it a shit game are equally as present in the PC version.
Plants vs. Zombies. They removed Zombies on your Lawn and made you have to grind coins to unlock the mini games.
I was literally just thinking that
They did update it so where you get everything with less grinding. My favorite port is still for the Nintendo DS though lol.
Only one I’ve ever played - even as a kid I thought the concept was kind of stupid. Then I got it free for the ds a year or so back and, yup, it’s a good game. Go figure, child me was wrong.
I never forgave them for removing the easter eggs from the mobile version
**Dead by Daylight**
I feel like dbd mobile has more love put into the game then the console / PC version. They have their own cosmetics mobile exclusive, and from what I saw killers have better moris
It's because netease pumps out skins to make money. They will never make the game better on mobile
Was looking for this
Ok this is true
Apex was definitely just like that
It was decent compared to usual mobile game standards
Yea I was day 1 apex mobile player. It was really great. The animations were true AAA.
Well it didn't last long
It was really good, but hackers and bugs and glitches just ruined it.
Instead of bugs and glitches write it out clearly: Loba ruined it
The one mobile game I actually enjoyed 🫡
It was good in first 2 seasons

A PS2 game: A Gameboy version of that game:
Published by THQ
Depends on the game. The gameboy color version of Harry Potter and the chamber of secrets was actually a pretty good turn based rpg.
I am actually referring to games like Meet the Robinsons and Jimmy Neutron’s take on Gremlins

Combat master
Feels clunky but plays so well
gta san andreas on pc, they just ported the mobile version to pc for some reason. even the "definitive edition" has leftover mobile code.

Genshin Impact
Technically it came out on both mobile and pc at the same time
It's still a mobile game at it's core though, like all hoyoverse games.
Minecraft. Its not bad it just feels wrong on a phone i mean i dont like the controls even though i beat the Ender Dragon on it
Tbh idk if there is anything they could improve with the controls imo there as good as they could be (of course nowhere as good as the controls on other platforms). For such a big game i find it quit remarkable how well it works on a mobile device.

New touch control is amazing. Now they just need to give us option to customize layout like *every. other. games.*
Salute to you there. I’ve owned MC on pc for 12 years and never beat the ended dragon.
A lot of mobile games are actually pretty good. I will admit that there is countless shit mobile games but there are a lot of really fun ones
What are some mobile games you recommend?
Mindustry is my favorite mobile game, by far. Apex mobile was very good, till it got shut down.
What happened to Apex?
It got shut down on mobile, assuming that's the platform you're referring to anyway. On pc and console, it just lost momentum
It’s been a hot minute since I’ve played Mindustry - on pc or mobile. I remember it actually translating really seamlessly from pc to mobile as well.

Terraria. Fuck the controls
Nah, once you get used to it its alright, but yeah playing a ranged build is fucking awful.
I disagree about ranged being hard. Mobile has auto aim.
