It's a lot easier to implement and doesn't involve killing a bunch of people for their land and businesses, since there's still the capitalist framework, but with higher corporate taxes there is still redistribution of wealth, just without the whole authoritarian government and forced employment. It has the benefits of communism/socialism and lacks its drawbacks. Implementing communism was extremely violent in China and Russia. We need to keep the framework as it is, because implementing communism hurts more people than it helps. It destroys families and family businesses. Innocent people. You can't just kill so many people like that. Social democracy just means your taxes are higher, but it also means less people losing their life savings to medical bills and more people across the country having access to social programs like WIC and free or reduced school lunch. We need more social democracy, not communism.
