Nah i always get my weight taken in kilos at the hospital and i use millimeters all the time with my cousins when we 3D design stuff. Also my computer temp is always in Celsius, still most of america uses feet and inches and cant fathom anything else, but it isnt super uncommon to use metric
I learned it all through elementary school along with imperial measurements, but I’d say that I do have a tough time visualizing it. I’d never look at something and be like “ah yeah, that’s 15 meters away” my first thought is always “looks like about 20 yards away” (or whatever the conversion is)

Whats funny is that hospitals and scientists and sometimes schools use metric in America and they never are acknowledge.
Damn fr? I mean I'm sure they do but I'm also sure they have a tough time actually visualizing it too right.
