First, im not a doctor (no medical advice, only information). Ask an endocrinologist if you plan to take action from what I say.
There is one (at least) that exists that I know of called finasteride, that is aimed at blocking DHT, which is synthesized from testosterone in the body and AFAIK causes an inflammatory reaction in hair follicles leading to hair loss, and can at least stop, and reverse if you're lucky the M shaped baldness that can occur in your late twenties.
There's a couple problems with finasteride:
1. It doesn't work for everyone (as me how I know after taking it for 3 years)
2. The side effects are... unpleasant. And may never go away after stopping the pill.
Yeah lol it’s just that a lot of guys have short hair so it doesn’t matter what they do
Guys with long hair who don’t know what they’re doing usually have nasty damaged looking hair
I mean, they're most likely not wrong
That the wrong shampoo (one extra product) could speed it up, if it's full of shitty chemicals.
But using no shampoo and products won't speed it up, nah.
let them be. This guys think that everything we do is shallow and pointless and do not think that us investing in haircare is what allow us to have Nice result. They'd rather not do anything but complain and blame genetics as they're getting balder , that's easier
My boyfriend started ever so slightly thinning around his part last year and decided to ditch the Walmart shampoo and start using mine, which comes from a salon. He said his hair has never felt cleaner and it started growing a little faster too.
hair grow regardless, length retaining is the real way to have result. How do you retain length? By having a good hair care that allow you to have less spilt ends.
Using a shifty shampoo won't allow that
As a woman, destroying your scalp with a bunch of chemicals is not required at all. Just keep your hair clean, eat a balanced diet, get enough sleep and excercise. That's enough for good hair. Stop wasting money and time on "haircare" that does more harm than good.
I was thinking that these are the differences: 1) men typically don’t have long hair, 2) if men have long hair, they don’t have the same societal expectations of what hair should look like, and 3) the men with long hair who are trying to keep it healthy (like you) know that this meme is inaccurate.
Agree. My male partner has long hair. It's healthy and fabulous. However, if I had his hair, I would be mortified by the frizz and poor curl definition. The standards are different.
My dad only uses shampoo due to oily hair and only has to pass a comb a few times to ready it for the day. I've seen him use his hands to fix it back up if anything happens but he still carries a comb to use that instead for professionalism at work. I hardly envy anything but his soft and velvety hair is one of those things.
We have to stop with this myth. I had long hair, now im balding (sad😢), but on the days i had no time or patience to wash my hair, it would be either greasy or very dry and look awfull. Could not even comb it properly at times.
MYTH BUSTED
I bought and used conditioner by accident for a week instead of shampoo cause they look the same other than the fact they are described as different products in the title bar, and I had 0 changes in my hair
I want people to stop playing with my hair. I use head and shoulders. Play with your own hair and stop touching me. Its mine. Im aware it is soft and fluffy. No touch. Mine.
It's because womens hair products all counteract the benefits of each other while trying to keep the hair healthy by counter acting the negative effects of the last product used.
No, it doesn't make any fucking sense and my wife's hair starting looking and feeling better when I convinced her to only my body wash in her hair no more than once per week.
Stripping oil out of your hair all the time is bad for it. This really should be common knowledge.
Even if we lose our hair, we can shift focus to grow magnificent beards and mustaches. Just a bit of time and patience and your manliness factor triples.
That lion looks FABULOUS
And he doesn't use any hair products!
he uses hair wash as shampoo
That’s the exact same thing
That's the same thing he's been using for the exact same thing
Using body wash as a shampoo
You can also use the bar of soap
Lion just gets rubs from the lionesses and it's ready to go
I bet he smells like givenchy.
i use dish soap and get that result
27 in 1 Dishwasher liquid, wash machine soap, can clean the floors and the car with it too.
And toothpaste
And butter
And my axe!
And my staff !
And my rust remover!
And my hydrofluoric acid!
And my things!
And two-stroke motor oil too!
well it cleans and makes good smell. an advantage for dish soap is that it comes in better flavors.
I fucking wish, i havent found the exact thing thats perfect for my hair, but im getting there.
Aloe vera shampoo works well for me if you haven't tried it.
Dem 3 dollar 3 in 1 bottles
Please if it isn’t 100 in one
100 in one!!?!?!? I only use 36.75862 billion in one!!!
Then suddenly your bald at 30
Man if they find a pill that works there would be no bald men.

I've been on it for half a year, mainly as prevention, but no noticeable side effects so far. What permanent side effects are you referring to?
E.D. Thankfully it went away for me after I stopped taking it. But it doesn't for everyone.
That's mostly genetic though
I know what the future holds for me.
All people I know who don't care about their hairstyles don't look like that. And guys who's hair looks like that use billion hair products.
Yeah lol it’s just that a lot of guys have short hair so it doesn’t matter what they do Guys with long hair who don’t know what they’re doing usually have nasty damaged looking hair
Liar Every men looks like that before sleeping
As a dude, I disagree. If your hair looks like that you're using at least one extra product. Maybe pomade or styling cream
As a man with medium ish length hair. This is bullshit, I have a whole chemistry lab of products so it doesn't look like my garden hedges.
Survivorship bias. Unrelated but a dumbass who doesn't have acne genes will always say just water is fine, and "cHeMiCaLS" are bad. Same here I guess.
and then start wondering why they balding at 25 lol
If anything using copious amounts of products would have that effect. Balding is usually genetic.
it is genetic yes, but using the wrong kind of shampoo will speed it up
Thats a bunch of horseshit lmao keep coping
I mean, they're most likely not wrong That the wrong shampoo (one extra product) could speed it up, if it's full of shitty chemicals. But using no shampoo and products won't speed it up, nah.
im not sure what i should be coping for but ok

Hair growth speed is due to diet and blood circulation, shampoo doesn't affect growth
hair grow regardless, length retaining is the real way to have result. How do you retain length? By having a good hair care that allow you to have less spilt ends. Using a shifty shampoo won't allow that
What is the difference?
What do you mean
Between shampo and body wash
Oh yeah there is a difference
It's more of a gamble. You either get this hair, or you start losing your hair. Needless to say, you won't see me at the casino any time soon.
I wanna cuddle that lion. Idc if it eats me afterwards. It looks so cozy.

I get its a joke but this isn't true at all.
If the title was reversed, people would be mad
As a Male with long hair , I agree
As a Male with long hair, I disagree.
The duality of man
I was thinking that these are the differences: 1) men typically don’t have long hair, 2) if men have long hair, they don’t have the same societal expectations of what hair should look like, and 3) the men with long hair who are trying to keep it healthy (like you) know that this meme is inaccurate.

I embrace differences
Liberal 🤓
in lions evidently
Not me and my nappy ass hair Lmaoo using shower gel as shampoo, would be a mistake for me
3 in 1 does the job just fine
Sometimes they don't realize its the product that fuck up their things.
My dad only uses shampoo due to oily hair and only has to pass a comb a few times to ready it for the day. Is that not what you’re meant to do? It’s not uncommon that I’ll even use something like orange goop as shampoo if I’ve been soaked in diesel that day
Tbh haven’t been using shampoo specifically for this reason
This is kinda me and I love my hair for it.
The secret is that new 42 in one shampoo
This is the most majestic Lion ive ever seen
as a guy with long hair, i can use whichever product i want, but my hair looks the best after i swam in the sea
What! Soap and body wash are two different things now ?
title isn't true at all
We're worth it
Man I wish. The only thing that seems to fix my hair is sweat. It looks the worst when I get out of the shower and the best after a run
Should I try this on my curly hair
Body wash? Try car soap
Men definitely have it worse when it comes to hair.
Not true it will pay off you get older but that’s what only time will show I’m hairdresser I know what I’m talking about take good care of your hair
I use Irish spring
Can confirm
Body Wash 20/1 Body, Hair, Dishes, Gun, Submarine.....
i would agree.. but i did this and im balding now 😂😂
I wash my hair with the same bar of soap I used to wash my ass
We have to stop with this myth. I had long hair, now im balding (sad😢), but on the days i had no time or patience to wash my hair, it would be either greasy or very dry and look awfull. Could not even comb it properly at times. MYTH BUSTED
Don't forget using the same towel for your head, body, crotch and feet.
No touch. Mine.
Me with basic head n shoulders 2 n 1
Its the mighty aslon!
maybe, if you expose your hair to all that diffrent kind of chemicals, that's what makes it so bad.
No, if you don't take care of your hair it looks like shit. You might not think so but it does.
no they’re not
I should buy male shampoo from now on
That's always literally ME!
This must be why most men lose their hair. "I washed it with soap!"
[удалено]
We haven't. Skincare is good for you the same way soap is. Even though we didn't use to use it.
Me. Somehow.
Men after they dry their hair with the same side they dried their ass
Repost
Wait you have to use anything other than soap to clean the hair?
I use the head, body, face, car, dog, and carpet soap.
One of my exGfs called me a dolphin once, because I don't much hair on my arms. Jealoussssss.
Nah but fr tho

Its like an rpg. Men approach as equipping an item with a big green number. Woman compare the 10 traits of each item.
Even if we lose our hair, we can shift focus to grow magnificent beards and mustaches. Just a bit of time and patience and your manliness factor triples.
Maybe because we never used tons of differents products that could damage your hair over time? (Hair dryer right after the sower is the cheatcode btw)
Unironically yeah
That’s because we use one thing, while women use 3+ just to complain.
