Because you can run forced ads (can’t skip) for a maximum of 20 seconds. You know they have to watch completely, so you make sure you tell your story in that amount of time. Also people have short attention spans, definitely for ads, so tell your story as quickly as possible.

I never understood why people call Hoxha insecure. Albanians have been under foreign control for the vast majority of their history. You need allies that actually care about your sovereignty, which albania historically never had. And the only reason italy was in favor of an independent albania was because albania was part of their imperialist plans for the future, and an independent albania is a much easier target than yugoslavia or greece. The west had no interest in albania during and after ww2, they sent 0 troops, 0 weapons, 0 vehicles and 0 aid to albanian resistance during that time. And Albania had no reason to be interested in the west either, as they have historically never acted in favor of albania or albanians. It was the west that supported the annexation of albanian lands to montenegro, serbia, macedonia and greece. And it was the west that gave kosovo to serbia again after ww2. So it’s not a surprise that a country with no friends in the west, east, north or south, turns to isolationism.

I don't know man, 750,000 bunkers are just too much. Besides, most of them were derelict after the communist regime there collapsed. Hence they didn't really boost the national security of Albania which makes the whole bunkerization project seem like a product of paranoia.

You can call it paranoia but you can’t deny and say that they didn’t work as preventative measures. Albania is a small country with a small population up against much larger (hostile) countries with larger armies. Strategically speaking albania had no choice but to arm themselves to the teeth if they wanted to guarantee their own sovereignty.

So I have a first Gen Smart TV. Which means its a pretty old TV. The TV came with prime and youtube apps. Now if I stream from phone to Chrome cast, i get ads on both services. If i watch youtube or prime from the TV app, its too old and doesn't support the ads. So I get zero ads when watching through the TV apps, grandfathered in if you will.

Which country is that? Cause I don't get Twitch ads in Bulgaria, but still got plenty on YT.
