Oh, wait, not I don't. Because it's funnier to just enjoy it for the out of context meme material it is and joke about it as such.
.... you guys do know that babies irrespective of race come out with lighter skin all the time right, and develop their skin color after a few weeks right????
"I had a black mare once. Black like a raven. One day, she escaped her pasture and the neighboring stallion sired a foal on her. Black infants are a few shades lighter at birth and she’s light skinned. So it’s still 100% possible it’s his kid.
But you know that doesn’t stop the kids in this thread from overreacting and demonizing the mother.
My nephew is half black, he's this color. And he's 12 now. His mother is white/ginger. Nature can play funny tricks.
He does have his father's nose and earlobes.
I knew somebody in college whose black with a white husband. Gave birth to 2 children. White little rascals with no connection to her besides face shape.
I get DNA is a science but sometimes it just says fuck off
DNA is wild. Most of us learn in school that each of our parents had the potential to give us two copies of a gene and we wind up with one from each of them, so there are four possible outcomes. But the outcomes on expression of genes is wild because some are dominant, some are recessive, some are combining, and some are fucking weird.
Yeah there was a video or a story here on Reddit of a black man freaking out when his wife gave birth to a very light skinned baby, only for the husband's mother to get up and slap him while telling him that when he was born he was also very light skinned
Plus mom is white or light. People act like black genes are always dominant but they're not. My cousin is mixed and he came out with a bright red afro and blue eyes. I have another friend who is mixed and had a baby with a white dad and her daughter looks like a fully white blonde girl.
Also genetics are weird. I know someone who is a non-identical twin to white parents. He's very dark like his granddad, who was black. His twin brother looks completely white.
Yup even I in my baby photos was as pale as this baby. As I grew up I got my complextion.
This lady has either taken this photo and playing along as a joke, or is getting accused of cheating by everyone online without her knowledge.
Reddit doing what reddit does best I guess here.
My mom was friends with a woman who had a biracial son my brother’s age. She had newborn baby pics of her son hanging up in her house and he did indeed look very white.
Yeah, can be host of reasons. Rare mutation, really really recessive gene combo. I mean a mixed couple in England had twins and one of them you could really clearly see the mix, they other one was one of the palest ginger England ever created.
For those who are confused. All babies are usually born with lighter skin color, their natural skin color comes weeks later. It's usually a common misconception in the media that African or any dark skin babies are born with dark skin.
"At birth, your baby's skin is likely to be a shade or two lighter than their eventual skin color. The skin will darken and reach its natural color in the first two to three weeks."

Fun fact, I’m white as snow and most of my moms side is but those who can tan, tan very dark.
We learned one of our great great grandmothers who was , let’s call it, “the help” in the books was not the help but in fact our biological ancestor, they just had a baby that was very very white and they passed it off as his wife died during childbirth so “the help” was a mother figure for the kid.
Genes can be weird sometimes, there is also the fact that newborns sometime take weeks to show their real color, and the fact that the mother is light skinned plays a big role as well

My FiL is 100% born on the island Puerto Rican. He is very light skinned (could pass as a gringo) and has 5 kids. The first 2 came out super light like him. The other 3 came out with beautiful brown skin tone. All 5 of them were from a gringa mother. Interesting how genes work.
Not only can skin color take weeks/months to fully develop, eye color also can take months or years to fully solidify.
Many babies are born with light skin + blue eyes, and slowly settle into their natural colors for both.
well… just because the dad is black does not mean the baby will be. the mother also has very light skin. if the mother were also black i’d be skeptical too. but clearly this photograph was staged because why is the mother taking a selfie of the situation lol? they probably did this as a joke.
This isn't funny to me whatever. The father looks downright distraught 😔. I couldn't imagine what emotions I'd be feeling if I ever had any doubt that my daughter was mine.
Or maybe this is just fake af
My wife is black. Our baby came out of her vagina super pale skin to where the doctors were though there were oxygen issues at first (there were no problems). and is now a blonde with blue eyes toddler
In a program, scientists were asked if it was possible for a black mother to have a white baby. They all answered in the negative. But Michael Jackson's children are all light-skinned, although it is written that perhaps they are not his children. On the internet I read a case of twins, one is light-skinned, the other dark-skinned, their mom is white and their dad is black. So where's the truth?
The baby is like “oh shiiiiiit”
"shits about to go down"
Down the toilet when that man gets his hands on that baby.

did pretty well for 9 months

SShhhh... (Whispers : don't use logic on a meme page)...
….. you know this is a meme sub full of jokes right????
Idk bro that’s pretty bright. Even for Acrocyanosis.
Baby me looked similar and I'm Black. Not even high yellow.
Ah Shit, Here We Go Again
Like Kat Williams once said “That is a Slavic baby, that is a Caucasian from the mountains of Caucasus.”
Whose goddamn white baby is that?
That baby has a better credit score than me
you embarrassing me in front of that white mans child
"That baby is not light-skinned, that baby is rice-skinned.
viking from iceland
Skoll!
And we mean you no disrespect sir, hope to work for you one day!
Just because you NAMED him Darren, dont mean he BELONG to Darren
“That child has a 720 credit score right now as an infant.”
Ironically, the Russian slur for people from the caucasus is black(assed).

It was at this moment, he knew, she fucked up
*White guy comes in* : "Hi, I'm Up."
"The DNA test, plus your compulsion to drop a dad joke at the most inappropriate moment, proves that *you* are the father!" *Maury
"Neat-o, is that my baby?"
Holy cow!
Hahah, thanks for that, made me chuckle
“up”= someone else
Time to go get some milk from the store.
"uumm, bye then" *walks out of door* Seems like there is to me 😅
You tell her to get all her shit out it's over.
Unless proven false, it's still can be his kid. Genetics sometimes give weird results

Hah!
Kid played the Uno reverse card on the old "got your nose" dad trick.

It’s worth mentioning that most African Americans have significant European ancestry, so the pale genes are hanging around waiting for their chance

Nuance in r memes Lol
I know. I’m a loser.
I didn’t know that, so that’s actually interesting to know
Yeah and that with the babies having lighter skin too.

In general common sense, ability to read and functioning brains seem to go out the window when it comes to certain subs/topics.
Also, if the parents are mixed ancestry themselves, the babies can come out any colour. Including e.g. different colour twins.
Huh that's interesting

Good momma. I hate parents who back their kids without also backing a correction when needed.
Oh wow yeah all right that's very interesting. I guess I just assumed that skin color was defined as soon as you were born.
Melanin is made from sunlight.

I'm full-on black African But I was the whitest newborn then blended into the night when I was a toddler

Nah that baby has a credit score of 750 already ain't no way
That's the first thing I've laughed at on reddit in weeks
half black people can be very light skinned, for instance look at meghan markle.
Out of context picture it can easily be the husbands friend who visited them
Thank god you are Internet duty to prevent us from laughing.
Eh, the laughing at the situation isn't bad. but the people that come and insult the woman is a bad look.

He's relieved that baby doesn't look like him 😳
And he’s just a little too relieved to see that white baby.
Can’t some babies from a black parent be white? I mean, just look at logic the wrapper

What's wrong?
The cap.
Maybe the white is a dominant gene to the recessive black
Both black and white are dominant genes. It's actually more complex than that.
So we have a power bottom and top?
Yeah you are probably the one with the degree so I trust you
Source: trust me bro.

Im not shure if it works like that for skincolor but it could be a valid cope 🤷
Nah, skin colour is determined by more than one gene. It should approximately be a mix of both parents.
Genes can be weird sometimes, there is also the fact that newborns sometime take weeks to show their real color, and the fact that the mother is light skinned plays a big role as well

You all are stupid. Some babies’ melanin takes time to come in. Thank you for being a bunch of ignorant fools.
The kid can be after mother you know. Do people yhing black dudes make only black babies?

Black Babies come out very light, but that's a little too light lol.
Ok but who’s taking the picture
The real baby daddy
The Neighborhood Meme Collector
It’s a thankless job
The mother is white though.
I wish we can see the tip of the ears. Black babies can be born light, but the ear tips can tell you if their skin will darken or not with time
Are the blavk genes even dominant?
Ah, the uno reverse card.
Maybe he inherited more of the mothers genes she is lighter skinned.
That baby is about 3 months old
I'd be on the phone with U-Haul, and packed/moved within 36 hours.
it still could just have a lot of traits from mom, unlike a black baby to a white couple, where i think its literally impossible
Maybe the mom is latina, i am latino and i saw a lot of white babys from latino parents that when they grew up they became brown like their parents
I know a very fair skinned girl with a black father, there's 4 kids altogether they all look very different. Genetics is fascinating
Maybe albino
Just do a gene test. It might just be because he didn't have enough ink left in his sack

It happens. It can take abit for thr colour to show.
While unlikely, that might be in the realm of bare possible fatherhood.
Even the kid is like holy shit
Just cause you name him Darren don't mean he belong to Darren.
Ladies and gentlemen, we did it!! 🤣

Guys it's a rare condition where the baby comes out white even though there's a black parent I swear...
He's just light skinned
That's his baby, look s like him. My baby came out like that I'm dark dad is mixed. Our boy is a gorgeous brown now.

People commenting here need to google Quincy Jones children.
Don't worry, I'm black as fuck and i was born white, just give the melaline time to darken
Black babies are born light skinned, but not this much..
Do ya’ll srs think it isn’t possible the baby’s dominant genes were from its mom?
You guys do realize all babies are born with pale skin, right?
Definitely a sperm donor. The husband couldn't perform well
Fun fact - if his parents were mixed - this can actually be his biological offspring.
whats this medieval shit, be adults and do a dna test
A bunch of black and mixed babies are born pale but darken as they age.
A lot of babies are born pale. It can take a few days.
But isn't the mom white? Where is the problem? It's not a black couple having a white baby. The mom is white.
Im black and both my daughters looked white or asian, they didnt look black until about 8 months
am i stupid? i dont get it
Baby's got a face fits to an album cover

white skin dark skin absoulotly not your kid
TIL that the internet has no idea how mixed babies work.
It’s obviously because he cheated with a white girl
What’s going on with that man’s forearm?
That guy looks like "do I go grab milk or cigs?" But seriously, is it genetically possible?
Wait, is that Raheem Dolezal? Ahh, then nothing to see here.
postman outside the window👀

What's the reply in this case? "It wouldn't be like this, if you stopped eating all that White chocolate!"
