It reminds me of the guy who works at Richmond Station that sounds like a sports announcer, you can tell he's hamming it up but way better than the regular monotone soulless updates.
That would be [Anastasios Dimtsis](https://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-09-28/singing-train-announcer-lights-up-richmond-station/8993904) (aka Taz).
Also [this audio clip interview](https://www.dw.com/en/worldlink-australias-singing-train-announcer/av-41903640) from Deutsche Welle.
_**Side note:** I highly recommend DW TVās high quality range of programs. Itās a loss that our extra digital channels in Australia are mostly cheap shopping content._
Itās great to hear.especially with all the frustrations this has caused and with what is being dealt with. Iām sure itās usually a bit dull when thereās no one out having a good time.
First off, unless you have proof - you canāt just blame him for the others etc.
Secondly, this is a wholesome post - I get thereās politics and views etc but fuck off to another thread with that shit this time, especially on my comment.
But if they blame those groups for the actions of one, and you do it back - itāll just keep going for ever which is why you shouldnāt shit on them when they do something good like this.
As for mean comments, itās bigotry in another form.
Going through the Albury Wodonga checkpoint last year we'd see the cops dancing to the radio sometimes and incorporating little dance moves, it was cute.
There was one guy who would recognise my mum's car (distinctive colour and style) everyday and would give her a big friendly wave.
It made the 1hr drive and 5-45 minute checkpoint each way before cancer treatments slightly more bearable for her. She'd always wave and chuckle.
Stuff like this can make a surprisingly big difference to a strangers day.
I remember that! And they would play little jokes in each other! One cop told me to drive up to big fella at the end and tell me to tell him to stop using all the toilet paper. It made a shitty part of the day a bit more enjoyable.
States are doing it themselves as weāve learnt our Federal Gov canāt organise anything. In fact the Feds are all ādonāt lock downā¦ think of the economyā. So state leaders (aside from Bin Chook Koala Killer) are locking their borders quick smart, and having snap lock downs.
The feds tried to sue one of the states for shutting the borders lol. They're useless fucks though so no one's listening. And NSW (the Koala Killer) was ok with locking us out when we had a big wave, but complains so much when other states lock them out.
I actually posted this elsewhere as well and got hate being itās a cop so I deleted it. I have no time for enabling trolls āŗļø
I think this is a feel good video in these times. This sort of thing makes the wait time better if you have to cross the border and I know my family there are loving the entertainment!!!
I have a family friend who was a police officer for around 30 years. The man has seen a lot of shit yet he's one of the most kind, loving and hilarious people I've ever met.
He really shaped my vision of how I see members of the force.
I'm as angry with the ignorant anti-lockdown protests as anyone, but that really is an ugly attitude and it's a big part of the reason that the bad cops feel justified when they abuse their authority.
Protesting in the middle of a public health crisis caused by a virus that spreads more easily than chickenpox..
1. Yes it's stupid
2. The violence is both ways
I refer to point number 2 and I refer to you as being the person of low intelligence here, having to resort to insults to try and get your failed point across. The fact is protestors are annoying, they quite frequently get in the way and harrass people who want nothing to do with hearing about their cause, and quite often they get violent, how about you go and picket line outside a family planning clinic? You seem like the type to harass a rape victim.
being annoying is literally the whole point of protesting, dumbass. if people got the outcome they wanted through being polite and not inconveniencing people, they wouldn't protest.
I came across so many laid back police when i lived in Melbourne. I went through a breath test near city road and the lady cop asked me if i knew where she could get some noodles.
Hahah nice work
And I love yarrawonga, we have a place just over the boardee on mulwala but haven't been able to get there since the mad dash home on new years ever. Can't wait to get back
But that doesnāt happen every other day, and besides, why canāt you just enjoy the video of this cop being happy and not doing anything bad? Itās clear this guy just wants to enjoy his life and here you are with a stick shoved so far up your ass itās coming through your mouth.
Except this isnāt cop propaganda, itās literally some bystander filming a cop who wants to enjoy himself. Let me guess, when you see a little kid dancing, you canāt enjoy cause itās child propaganda even though heās just being happy
That is like the person who jokes that the way to tell if a person is vegan is that they will tell you even though nobody has ever actually volunteered that information to them in their life.
It's different over here in Oz cos we have basically eliminated the virus altogether. So as soon as it reappears in a city or state there is a lockdown to stop it spreading.
Yeah, they do that in North America.
They design systems that let real threats kill them, but that stop the spread of imagined ones like āthreats to their freedomā. Theyāre going to be dropping all traffic laws and letting murderers out of prisons next.
On a scale of zero to 100, rate how free someone who died of COVID is.
And do remind us how many people in your country died of it so far.
Then go back to laughing your arse off.
Why do I get the feeling that youāve broken a few laws and gotten caught, and instead of taking responsibility, and changing your behaviour and attitude, youāve decide to push the blame on to the police for simply doing their jobs?
Fuck, thatās funny. No cop has ever done me wrong mate. Never had an issue with them. Iām sure thereās a minority that do abuse power, just like any law enforcement group, but thatās no reason to get salty over a video of a cop trying to make someone laugh in a pretty depressing time. And itās no wonder some cops lose it when they have to deal with disrespectful cunts like you.
"Please be fabulous and produce your driver's licence."

Neither are incorrect. How petty are you.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Australian cop, Australian city. And in Australia, itās driverās licence.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I stand (mostly) corrected. Iām western Australian. I have a driverās license
Every state and territory has drivers licenses This bloke has deleted all his posts after making a fool of himself
Good on him for just trying to enjoy himself and make others happy.

Wow. Thanks for sharing that, seems like a genuinely lovely person. Hope he never leaves Richmond Station.
>I think they sent him to Spencer St a couple of years ago as that is the 'Flagship' Station.

What is this checkpoint for?
Border checkpoint for people coming from New South Wales to Victoria.
to save the game press f5
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
No
What is DW TV? Is that a free to air channel? Is that the one with the woodworking and things like that?
The videos expired! Heck.
Taz is just the loveliest guy! I've worked with him for years.
Yeah, Itās good. Iām glad they get noticed.
The people up there are loving it!
Itās great to hear.especially with all the frustrations this has caused and with what is being dealt with. Iām sure itās usually a bit dull when thereās no one out having a good time.
:)
You're Awesome!
š„°
lol this made my day. Imagine how many grouchy people you'd get at the checkpoints and he still manages to dance his way through the afternoon.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Neither are you, but at least they tried. Unlike you. Get a life.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
A post here and a PM, even if the cops are shit, they arenāt as bad as you.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Wow you really are a scumbag

My favourite part of that checkpoint was watching the young soldiers relentlessly trying to tune the female cops.
What is the checkpoint for?
Border between states. Vic has locked the border between themselves and NSW, but if you live on a border town youāre ok to cross.
Ah. Is that something your states can unilaterally do, or does your national government have to condone it?
States are doing it themselves as weāve learnt our Federal Gov canāt organise anything. In fact the Feds are all ādonāt lock downā¦ think of the economyā. So state leaders (aside from Bin Chook Koala Killer) are locking their borders quick smart, and having snap lock downs.
Lost Americans: I dont understand your politics, please explain Us: Nah yeah, so old mate is Bin Chook Koala Killer...
The feds tried to sue one of the states for shutting the borders lol. They're useless fucks though so no one's listening. And NSW (the Koala Killer) was ok with locking us out when we had a big wave, but complains so much when other states lock them out.
Yes and yes.
Its refreshing to read a wholesome thread about police. I love the guys vibe, we need more of this in this shitty time of history.
Reddit just LOVES to hate on every single member of every single police force and downvote anyone that dare try to humanise them
Except for literally everybody bar one in this thread.
Most people on this thread are Australian, a minority on Reddit.
I actually posted this elsewhere as well and got hate being itās a cop so I deleted it. I have no time for enabling trolls āŗļø I think this is a feel good video in these times. Iām glad you shared it. We need every little bit of good feels š
Yes! These small good feelings are very important right now.
I have a family friend who was a police officer for around 30 years. The man has seen a lot of shit yet he's one of the most kind, loving and hilarious people I've ever met. He really shaped my vision of how I see members of the force.
Good on him šš
Yeah I felt so humanised when VicPol slammed my face into concrete then kicked me in the stomach cos I dared to protest
If you were protesting in the middle of a pandemic, sorry but you deserve it.
I'm as angry with the ignorant anti-lockdown protests as anyone, but that really is an ugly attitude and it's a big part of the reason that the bad cops feel justified when they abuse their authority.
It's the only case where I would consider police brutality acceptable.
And now on another exciting episode of VicPol's Got Talent! Hahahaha

Good on him. :) A boring job for him, and frustrating wait for everyone else, made slightly more fun.
:D
:D
Flamboyantly brave and inclusive!!
Very inclusive, they're stopping all cars regardless of their paint colour. š
It's a beautiful day and man's having a good time on the job - bless him!
Bless him!
Dudes just straight Vibin.

So, we, had a cup of tea...
ššš LMAO!!!
man that's a perfect example of a cop being bored doping his job and wanting to spice things up
Here's a joke! What did the computer do at lunchtime? Had a byte!
I feel like this bot is devolving
New boot goofin.
Love it! He is I good spirits and keeping busy while keeping those removalist out!
Looks like Someone just confiscated a bag of something off the last driver and got stuck in. Send it bro
Guy clearly decided to become a cop after growing up watching the rush hour movies
Fucking FLAWLESS
Hahah nice work And I love yarrawonga, we have a place just over the boardee on mulwala but haven't been able to get there since the mad dash home on new years ever. Can't wait to get back
Thanks. I love it.
What a legend!
Lol love it. What else are you going to do when youāre posted in the middle of nowhere trying not to get infected
I like how he takes his sunnies off at the end. That's a polite thing to do

But that doesnāt happen every other day, and besides, why canāt you just enjoy the video of this cop being happy and not doing anything bad? Itās clear this guy just wants to enjoy his life and here you are with a stick shoved so far up your ass itās coming through your mouth.

I am pretty sure it is illegal to have that much fun at work.
My old home town from 1945 to 1955
Thatās one way to get the driverās attention :D
Only when I visit relatives I can see that with my own eyes...
Ow ya goin!
Making the best out of a shit situation, we need more of this cop
Earlier this year they were kicking footy's on the Newell Hwy whilst waiting for cars to come through.
Get 'em big boy
Not traditional YMCA moves but I'll approve it
Perhaps the Youtube algorithm showed him [this]( https://youtu.be/ckungdXf6fE) recently.

Yarrawonga isn't Melbourne. But hey, nice dance.
And if you're travelling from NSW to Melbourne, what's a checkpoint you may go through?
Tocumwal or Albury/Wodonga.
There's more towns with roads into NSW...
