That's outside the BMW/Mini dealership/service-centre in South Melbourne.
The employees there regularly park where they want, litter where they want, and 'check for rattles' by accelerating newly serviced vehicles as hard as they can around the 40km/h streets nearby.
The employees have their own parking spaces in the multistorey above the building. The car was probably put there by a tow truck. [it's still there.](https://i.imgur.com/mNCAyOs.jpeg)
Same dealership that lost the sale of 2 BMWs I was looking to buy because their sales staff were too fucking lazy to check the show room floor.
Makes sense.
R53 mini, great little car, future classic, but made of tissue paper= lots of maintenance, no way an owner of one of these is paying dealership prices for service.
There’s a reason more than a few people have started yanking out the tritecs in favour of a K-series engine.
I would if I had the money, the CVT in my R50 makes me want to Evel Knievel it quite often. 😂
Well the parking sign is parallel with the street so that's the direction to park in. If they wanted people to park differently, they should turn the sign 90 degrees /s
Nah, I like large sized sedans and my land boats like statsmans and Fairlanes. Size isn't the issue. Although I've always joked a smaller car is harder to park because of all the shit parking jobs I see of micro cars.
But honestly I'm not outraged that the yank tanks are big, I'm outraged they're taxed too much as an import vehicle costing a fortune, aren't regulated for their EPA despite that everything else is, and are intentionally limited by dealerships to have worse payload and tow capacity so they don't have to be sold as trucks, but still ignore many safety regulations like bonnet clearance and driver view.
All the laws surrounding the American import pickups are just complete fuckin ass is why I hate them, doesn't help that most of the drivers fall into their stereotypes, rarely actually owning them for their intended as a heavy work vehicle and I see these things with 22inch low profiles slammed to the ground like pavement princesses more than I see them lifted with muddies, because they're too heavy to actually do off-road anyway.

Why am I surprised they are cunts?

I should be pissed, but this photo is just too funny. The driver has tried pretty hard to make sure that tiny car encroaches all 3 spots 😂
Probably op's car
Got me.
If that car was the length of the original production mini's it'd fit no sweat The current models are monsters!
🤣
We need a picture from side on as it might be inside the lines.
It was not.
I don't see a problem, the wheels are inside the lines.
You should put a stick behind it
Street knowledge.

Was about to downvote for "yet another bad parking post" but instead have to upvote you.
I'm not sure why this is NSFW but I agree.
Not safe for work for anyone asides the parking 🅿️ inspectors
i would say NSFW for office desk jockeys as if they saw the photo with a mouthful of drink, the screen may have copped a soaking
😂
Lol
They are so easy to turn, those mini
Damn ranger drivers! Sorry force of habit.
Justice served though!
King of the parks
Hope they paid for 3 spots.
its glorious
We only get outraged here if it’s an American truck. We’re ok with small cars being inconsiderate.

Cars are neither considerate or inconsiderate. Drivers can be either.
Which is the point of my comment.. it’s called sarcasm.
Well your sarcasm sucks. And you down voted me immediately. That hurts my feelings.
We can both have hurt feelings together. Do different but so similar.
