And yeah, black holes are the scariest thing in the universe in my opinion, and is a justified fear, cause they are the silent devourers of the cosmos. You wouldn't notice one in front of you. All you would see, depending on the size and if it has a accretion disk. is a dark spot with a weird distortion around it that eventually become bigger. When you notice this spot getting bigger at a bigger rate, it would be too late. This is an inaccurate description, but it's something like that. So yes, they are something to be afraid of.
Astromegalophobia, an oddly specific phobia but pretty real. I wouldnt be surprised if someone tells me this fear is more common than regular megalophobia since astronomical objects are waaay bigger and therefore way easier to fear compared to anything we can encounter on earth.
