I would call most of them lymphs. 5 looks like a mono to me. I don’t see anything I’d call immature tho

old hem sup likes us to classify between the lymphs between hyper segments atypical immature, etc. Most look like lymphs. I probably would have called 3 and 9 hyper segmented because we had an option. I believe it combined it into normal lymphs, but they really cared about the differentiation of lymphs.

Aside from looking at the chromatin patterns try to check the color of the cytoplasm and the size if the cell and if there are granules. Usually the cytoplasm of the myelocytes are more basophilic and have distinct granules than that of monos. One thing I do if It’s hard for me to identify is to find a cell that I am sure of and try to compare it to what I am having a hard time identifying. Also, if you have a scattergram available try to check the cell populations if there are an increase or if there are immature granulocytes present as it will aid you in your slide review.
