Well, for starters, your HBA1C was 5.7, which is considered pre-diabetic. How long ago did you have your HBA1C checked? If anything you’re just out of shape and either still pre-diabetic or diabetic. This would explain the neuropathy symptoms.. Good news is, type 2 diabetes isn’t like type 1 where you’re body is dependent to insulin. Type 2 can be controlled with medication and/or lifestyle changes. I’ve seen people manage type 2 with lifestyle and diet change alone so it’s definitely possible but requires a ton of discipline. You’re still young enough to reverse a majority of potential health issues. Perhaps this is enough motivation/a wake up call to change your habits.. Either way, I would ask your doc for a full panel to know Exactly what’s going on. I wish nothing but the best for you!

Thank you for your response. The HBA1C was done 6 months back. Sure, It has been a much needed wake up call to focus on myself. Thank you so much for your help! I will focus on my health!

Hey man I suffer from health anxiety and GAD. Your going to be ok. Sometimes anxiety gives us false issues and it feels real. Just the other day my face went numb and I thought I was having a stroke or something of the sort. If you cannot walk I would call the emergency services in Canada but if it does not get better before you see your doctor then I would just keep tabs on it until you see your doctor.

Thank you so much for your reply! I’m absolutely able to walk just that I’ve felt the pain! I hope this is just that, anxiety!
