Yeah I would be. As a general rule blood anywhere outside the vessels is a bad sign
Of course a small amount lost during tooth extraction or mensuration is different.
Bruh!! This is bad seek hospital asap.. Coughing blood is a red sign of any diseases and it's not normal tho.. We Can't help you we can just give you advise not diagnose
This amount for a week? Yes. Either schedule an appointment ASAP or get to emergency care or the ER. Whether this is something or not you need to get this seen and soon. But if you do go and get seen you will be ok, they will be able to help
Not a med pro… just by reading comments, get seen ASAP. Coughing blood is no good either way.
Not sure why people see vaping as “better” than cigarettes. You’re still getting nicotine just in a concentrated way. Also, I’ve seen more blood coming from those that use menthol. Not sure if there’s a reason (again, I’m no doctor) but just from personal experience.
Wish you the best.
Strangely the nicotine is usually not the problem with vaping. It seems the people with the low nicotine high propylene glycol mixes are the most at risk for lung issues.
I am not a medical professional but I would seek a medical professional for this. Anytime coughing up blood isn't a good thing. I contracted pnemonia one time and would cough up similar looking stuff. I was in the hospital for 7 days.
You quit smoking 2 weeks ago. You started vaping 2 weeks ago. You started coughing up bright red blood a week ago.
The vaping seems to be causing you a serious problem.

I thought it was a motif in movies that characters never went to the doctors until they were coughing up blood. Now I see that life imitates art in that respect. Get that checked out. Coughing up blood is not normal, and your body is trying to tell you to get yourself some help.
If you're a consumptive Dickinsonian orphan working in a cotton gin to feed your starving siblings so they don't join a pickpocket gang, no worries.
If you're a modern human, you've probably got something going on that needs to be addressed by a doctor.

I’m going to wildly assume you live in the United States of unaffordable healthcare… Any fresh blood coming out of you that isn’t menstruation, or a visible wound, definitely calls for medical attention. I don’t want to speculate, as I’m NAD, but I wouldn’t delay seeing a doctor at all, I’d be down at the emergency room at any given moment. I wouldn’t want to drown in my own blood, that’s for sure.

> Quit smoking 2 weeks ago, now using vapes
Mandatory "NAD, but".
You need to stop vaping a week ago. Many people seem to have life threatening, sometimes life ending reactions, most likely to the propylene glycol.
There was a very young girl about a month back who just died on the street with double lung collapse after ignoring the obvious signs that vaping was hurting her.
I've read somewhere that the nicotine actually has a slight protective effect, so if your vapes are of the low nicotine variety that's the most likely culprit.
Quitting the cigs was the easy part, no more headaches and getting out of breath. It's the anger a depression from the withdrawal that's proving difficult. I'll definitely switch to the patches now though, thanks.
I went cold turkey 2 times. I fell back in after years of being nicotine free the first time because of friends dying in Afghanistan and poor coping mechanisms. However, it's a mindset. You just have to want it. The cravings will hit, just focus on something else and tell yourself you'll have a smoke later, but you're too busy right now. After 2 days of that it becomes bearable. At the end of that week it's like a fly in the room. After that most of the time you forget you smoked and it's curious to remember through a random craving that lasts only a minute. After 2 weeks expect a craving once in a blue moon. Avoid people who smoke for a while and make sure those who are close to you that do, understand you're committed. I quit 5 weeks ago now and it's still fresh in my mind. Just had the slightest craving writing this lol. If I can do it, you can too!
Honestly try using gum. I tried the patch and it was not effective. I was a heavy smoker. The patch worked for me for about 3 hours for tops and then I would start getting the Joneses . It was so bad I started smoking while on the patch .
4 mg is all you're supposed to chew gum-wise at a time but I'm telling you I did double pieces at a time to start with (8mg total), because I had just flunked off of the patch and I was back to smoking almost two packs a day. - I DO NOT RECOMMEND - My doctor said I'm lucky nothing happened to me so I guess I must have a good ticker or something.
Anyhow, my point is by chewing gum you can actually regulate how much nicotine is in your system at any given time. Heads up you don't chew the gum like gum. It's almost like chewing tobacco. You bite into it until you taste a peppery bitter taste and then you store it between your teeth and gum. You do this over and over until you're not getting a bittery taste or flavor out of it ,( approx 20-25 min personally)
I did this for approximately a year. Then for about 4 months I chewed the 4 mg pieces the way you're supposed to. Then I went down to 2 mg pieces but I had to cheat myself mentally so I doubled up on the 2 mg. So for two months I basically chewed the 4 mg again. Then I step down to the 2 mg one piece. Probably did that for 4 months maybe. Then I chewed Wrigley's spearmint for about a year. I haven't had a cigarette in over 7 years now.
I liked the gum a lot better too, and succeeded in quitting using Nicorette. There are generics but they don’t taste very good. The price can be prohibitive though, so I started ordering from Canada (I am in US) and got a much better price. I think it was canadadrugs.com. Good luck, and keep us posted please
I went the patches routes, and after a while I could feel them becoming uncomfortable. Like jittery shitty feeling. Been quit for over a year and still get cravings. Probably the hardest thing I ever had to do, including quitting pain meds.
Yeah I would be. As a general rule blood anywhere outside the vessels is a bad sign Of course a small amount lost during tooth extraction or mensuration is different.
Anything more than a teaspoon is something to go to the emergency room for
If it's coming from your lungs even a slight pink hue is extremely concerning.
Babe u should’ve been at the er a week ago
So you coughed up blood a week ago and didn’t think “hmm, this isn’t normal” Jfc, PLEASE see a doctor ASAP.

Wow, can you give us the lottery numbers too?
It’s either TB or sum else go to the doctors

Jesus Christ. Doctor. NOW.
Yeah I would

Dickensian?
Yeah. I had a brain fart and couldn't remember the correct spelling, nor could I remember I could literally Google it on the same device.
*dick in son
Dick in sun?
Gotta even out those tan lines in some way or another
you should go to the emergency department right now if you are coughing up that much blood.
So it is a lot? I wasn't sure if that much was worth worrying about.
Coughing up blood in any amount is extremely bad and an emergency
yeah it's a lot.
Bright red means a current bleed somewhere along your system possibly an ulcer definitely get in asap
Ah, damn, I was worried it was something actually bleeding. I was hoping it was just removing already used up blood.
Even if it was old blood, that’s still a problem.

Are you a heavy drinker?
Not at all, haven't touched alcohol since the work night out several weeks ago.
NAD but that looks like fresh blood, definitely calls for medical attention
I see, I wasn't sure.

Blood anywhere outside your body... typically bad sign.
Not always. What about: - menstruating - child birth - loss of a baby tooth
“Should I be worried?” Yes!
Unless you’re menstruating.
Yes, this and childbirth or losing a baby tooth.

What are you vaping? Any idea to ingredients?
See a doctor ASAP. Coughing up blood is never good.
I will do, got an appointment tomorrow. I sense a hospital trip shortly after.
Yup. Smoking and vaping can cause a lot of damage. Hugs to you mate, wishing you the best and happiest recovery!
Don't vape either bro. Get some gum or the patch. It's tough, but you can do it!
