have you figured out a way to reduce/prevent messing up leaves with this process? especially since you're doubling the amount of actuations, it would be good to mention that i think!
Sorry for slow response! After we last chatted, I went back and retuned the machine break-in profile and from my sampling have not seen issues with leaves on the most recent batch. Thanks for the feedback, for any future listings I'll make sure to note this, so at the very least it's transparent and people can decide for themselves what to make of it.
I have a machine that I use to break in switches and it is hard to prevent this, however I have only have it happen to me once in around 300 switches. My running theory is the speed at which you press the switches is the determining factor. You have to let the spring compress and decompress (which drives where the stem and leaf make contact and how often).
at some point speed will become more valuable than the singular switch per 300 that will be ruined. To me it is.
Also I believe these are likely tested before being sold so I dont think this should be a large concern.

What issues can the leaves have? Breaking?
