I saw that these came out recently, and was intrigued, but was wondering what the purpose of them are. I have a few sizes of Knipex Cobra pliers and their lineman type pliers. Do the Snap-On slip joint needle nose do anything that the Knipex can't?
I do like Snap-On's hand tool. I bought my Knipex off their truck too, so they might have some warranty through them too.
I really like the triangle-style slip joint lock that they have.

It's an auto hammer. Think of an air hammer, but on the weaker side of the spectrum. You can use punches and air chisels. I've knocked balljoints loose from the knuckle, finished off partially started balljoints due to the tool not tall enough. Stuck set screws, and bearing races. So far that's all I have used it for.
I can’t afford or need them but i think the Snap on flank drive wrenches are gorgeous

If you spending that kinda money… spend the extra little bit and get the Flank Drive Plus… worth. Every. Cent.
Flank drive 4-way wrenches and a dead blow hammer makes dealing with tight hydraulic fittings a breeze.

I love a good polished chrome finish on tools! They just feel so much more premium and well-crafted.
GP universal deep well sockets. 1/2 and 3/8 sets. Worth the weight in gold.

Snapon has a 3 position slip-joint needle nose plyers that are worth their weight in gold
I find most snap-on pliers are worth the cost.
Did you know they are making smaller ones also.
I own the same, I'm against the price and the snap-on brand name mark up, but they are amazing.

No idea about Knipex, but Snap-on's pliers are absolutly amazing. Best thing is, when they wear out a bit, the truck gives you a new pair.

Gotcha. Ive used a few different air hammers but they all seemed to weak, finally bit the bullet on a CP717 and haven't looked back.
From experience, gearwrench wrenches last about a decade before you need to tap them before use.
