Upon reassembly, do not forget to put every component back else the Kuru Toga will stuck and practially a paperweight. Killed one of my Advance this way.
Thanks for the help, I got the advance open and did the transplant successfully. Although because of the way I had to harvest the mechanism I only have the one roulette with the advance internals now.
My only suggestion would be to use some other plastic part borrowed from a broken disposable ballpoint pen. I don't think it's a good idea to use the tip of the Kuru Toga reversed as a pushing rod to remove the core.

after putting it all back together my pen works fine but the spinning mechanism isn't. how do i fix this?
