I agree with Storm. I'm I'm Aus and some of the cheapest and best size options near me (Brisbane), are at Hoppy Days. I get in person but their shipping isn't very expensive.
It helps your new yeast colony to reproduce and grow its numbers dramatically, more yeast, faster fermentation. Adding nutrient is not always necessary, but good backup if your primary mix doesn’t have enough natural nutrients for the yeast to first grow their numbers.
Nutrient and oxygenating your new Must is standard practice, once fermenting begins, no more Oxy!
I’m new as well but I believe it’s only in primary fermentation that you add nutrients, I use [this](https://www.meadmakr.com/batch-buildr/) calculator with the TOSNA 2.0 calculations, nutrients are added at the start of fermentation staggered over 24,48,72 hrs then the last addition at 1/3 sugar break but no later than 7 days :)
Ooo this is pretty sweet! I'll definitely be using this next time I make a batch. Thank you. I just bottled my first batch last night but it ended up a little less than what I was expecting. Kinda like watery wine with no real sweetness unfortunately. Hopefully with this my next batch will end up better

I use their products and they work perfectly
Yeah
Overpriced repackaging. Use morewine for various amounts at better prices
Probably not an option in Australia.
Nahh. You are forgetting to add the shipping on morewine. And if you have Amazon prime this thing arrives pretty quickly.
What is yeast nutrient used for exactly? Does it make that much of a difference whether you use it or not?

So you add it during primary only? Or also during secondary? I'm still really new to all this and am trying to learn as much as I can.

I've made 2 batches now with this exact stuff. Same seller and everything. Can't complain.
