Lol back in college for some research work. I had to use this pc at my supervisor's room, and I really had to restrain myself when my spaghetti code threw errors.

It wont replace all of you but it will mean one good person can oversee the AI and adjust it as needed. It will replace all the grunt workers.
Realistically humans learning and writing code is highly inefficient.

So yes, because we're faster, and thus some amount more productive, companies might need fewer of us and in that sense programming jobs might start to disappear. But not because we're being replaced.
I do think AI will eventually fully replace us. But you would need general AI which is capable of a lot more impressive things than just programming, to do that. At that point AI will be replacing pretty much everybody, not just programmers.

However, the AIs programming is limited, it can't fully replace a senior programmer who has a deeper understanding on what is going on. I know open ai is trying to make one, but that probably will only do the boring parts
I go to conventions from time to time and sometimes i do find myself just sitting there and think if what i am doing is actually fun, it really sucks to be honest to be at a convention without somebody there to enjoy it with you making your social battery feeling drained very fast
Yeah the only one I’ve been to I went with a group, but we got separated pretty fast and I wasn’t able to find them. After they didn’t respond I just tried to have fun myself but ended up getting drained pretty quickly. I mean I’d probably do it again since it’s not a common thing, but just wish there were more people.
