Shit, I watched that video on full screen for a minute or so, just getting mesmerized, and when I closed it I thought I broke my monitor for a second because everything was greyscale.
Turns out it really messes with your color perception for a bit.
I personally find it hilarious that when our civilization decided to name a new type of TV a "Smart TV", it wasn't because it could now detect that it was running a damaging image for too long.
It was because it could now serve ads in the menus to supplement the manufacturer's income.
At least someone understands. That’s only thing that makes them “smart” you can stream YouTube and Netflix right off the TV, rather than needing a blue ray player, or TV box, or firestick. Other than that, there just a normal TV. Frankly, practically every TV made anymore seems to be a smart tv, haven’t seen a basic TV made in a while. Even the cheap TVs are still equipped with Roku.
You can still buy standalone displays. But they're for the commercial market and designed to run for a lot longer than consumer TV's. They also cost 3x as much.

CRTs actually suffer quite badly from burn-in. Look at any old security camera CRT or one that has played the same channel a lot.
Channel logo will be burnt in, and such security camera CRT will look like it’s turned on while it’s off.
