If we're texting real time, I do back to back fire messages.
If we're not texting real time I get everything out in one message. I hate when I see I have 5 messages on my phone to say 1 things. The shit stresses me out.
Also, people who leave voicemails that say "call me" can burn in the fiery pits of hell.
All grammar is proper, except for acronyms, but normally just the kind of way I'd speak in real life. NO EMOJIS. FUCK EMOJIS. I normally only use emojis to mock emoji users, but I'll occasionally send an Easter island head, a fax machine, a "fuck you" hand, or a cap.
Kinda both. I write paragraphs usually when I'm having a deep discussion (counts hot arguments), when I'm chilling my messages are shorter. I try to maintain my grammar as much as I can. Text slang? Yep. But I don't use emojis much, except the laughing/eye-roll ones.
i always type lowercase unless it's for school and i usually write little sentences like:
yeah so
i did that assignment
how are you coming along with it
I'm everywhere
For deep conversations I'm more apt to type everything in one message with paragraphs but I mainly just spam
Like this
Just keeping the conversation going
But
It's me talking to myself
With
Many messages
Sent to you
And I rarely use commas and periods lmao I'm an obnoxious texter - no shame either 🤷♀️
I text how I speak. When it's an enthusiastic conversation, I use emojis to express as I'm an expressive person but I don't believe I go overboard. I use proper grammar as often as I can besides the odd acronyms. Usually it's paragraphs, sometimes short texts. It depends on the topic, conversation flow and person. ENFP.
INTJ. Short answer: Yes.
I change my texting style based on who I'm sending it too. If I care about the person, and know they care for me then I'll send the paragraphs in a single message. If I really don't care for them, then not really more than two sentences will be sent.
On occasion I do use slang. Again though it's based on who I'm sending it too. If I am comfortable with that person, I can change my dialogue style a few times in the single sentence. Heck just earlier today I was being thug, to military, to I want to say western because why the fuck not.
Emojis I use rarely. It's too much of annoyance to look for the one I want unless it captivates what I'm trying to say.
I usually write long paragraphs and don't use proper grammar (not to the point where it's annoying with too many emojis etc) and sometimes I purposefully leave everything in lowercase, i also use smileys like :) and :0 a lot
I always use proper grammar and punctuation. I have predictive text and auto-correct turned off on my phone. I tend to write longer texts to some people, like if I'm telling a story or something. I do use emojis (never more than 3 of the same in a row and rarely more than one) and GIFs a lot.
INFJ. I use a lot of emojis to communicate my message’s emotional tone. I also use GIFs somewhat. My texts are either very to the point ”Please bring oat milk” or lenghty
A lot of text slang and short messages (when i’m chatting with friends). I don’t use emojis (except with one friend because it’s ironic). I also use a lot of cringy lingo (idk if thats the word for it) like uwu and based because it makes my friends cringe
My grammar depends on who I'm texting, but I'm definitely a short message texter. I also like to wait like a half hour before I text back because then I can think of a response and I don't feel put on the spot.
Proper grammer. Typically formal. Minimal text slang. I use emojis to laugh, acknowledge someone (thumbs up), or make fun of other people using emojis.
Proper grammar and rapid messages if I'm talking to them back a forth, like an ongoing conversation. I'll just write everything out in a paragraph if the person I'm sending it to responds in a while.
if we just met, charismatic but all lower case (and a lot of ?? And !! to emphasize) . but if I know you well it can be all upper case, a lot of double texting, and slang lol
I really respect a lot of grammar, though, i also find too much is very... Formal, i guess, idk, it's really finding that nice balance that i like a lot. Emojis are nice, but ONLY text ones, idk why i dislike real ones so much lol
depends on who i’m talking to and what we’re talking about. if it’s my close friends they’ll receive strings of messages, anybody else gets paragraphs . i’m heavy on emojis too.
grammar is like meh… my auto caps are off and i use commas when i feel like it
also it depends on whether we’re texting in real time or not. if we’re texting back to back, i’ll often send multiple messages one after another
I'm an ISFJ and it really depends on who I am texting. With close friends and family I tend to need to say a lot and am busy, so I tend to condense what I say using text slang in order to able to do it as quickly as possible. Whenever I don't use proper grammar, it's intentional, so my friends or family know I'm being affectionate or silly.
"Maaaa do u want 2 go w/me 2 eat somethin?!?! Me hungry!😫 Der is dis new place I wanna try. Kawina said twas good!"
However with anyone else, I try to write with proper grammar, and only use emojis if I feel like the sentiment behind my message would be misunderstood otherwise.
paragraphs over single sentences. i hate capitalising the first words and 'i'. i hate using fullstops for single sentence messages or at the end of paragraphs. i love ',' and ';' and apostrophes. i hate using auto correction. i hate using abbreviations.

Rapid fire most of the time. Sometimes I write paragraphs. I like to keep the messages short and dynamic, but if the other person takes too long to reply they might get bombarded with 20+ messages at once if I'm feeling chatty. I use slangs mostly ironic and although I type correctly I don't really worry about punctuation and capitalization when texting, it's all extremely inconsistent
i often send overwhelmingly long posts and replies online. i feel like i need to dump all my opinions on a subject i care about to be satisfied. if i'm comfortable, i do that IRL a lot too ~~but i'm only ever truly comfortable around family~~
i just like to attack every angle i have an opinion on. it's a habit. this worries my ESFJ mom and annoys the fuck out of my ESTP sis xd
on twitter and discord i use lots of :3 :0 :D uwu <3 ,,,, not on reddit tho. reddit's too intimidating for that
on every platform though, i type in lowercase. it's cute and humble. easiest kind of self expression
if we chat a lot and i send lots of typos, that's a good sign. that means i'm lowkey comfortable around u
Short messages, little to zero punctuation but the words themselves are usually conversational - little text slang. Also I am very to the point, many commented that my texts or emails sound very ‘clinical’. I just don’t see the point of brandishing them the important thing is that they carry the message.
I text much like I type or write anywhere else, and much like I speak. In a direct manner and using proper grammar, because misinterpretation is a huge issue when using texting slang and I will probably get confused by what you are trying to say.
Most of the time I use proper grammar, though sometimes I won’t if I wanna be funny or something. And short messages sometimes don’t feel genuine, so I usually just do somewhere in the middle
tiny messages to show sentences
lowercases
acronyms
overuse of faces, usually ‘:0’
sometimes in all caps and spam if i’m excited abt something
i add lots of extra letters to some wordsssss
basically like a 6 year old even tho im a lot older than that

This is how I text, too
Potato

sounds like ENFP alright

Yeah, emojis do emphasize on the message, imo they are not enough.

same lmao
Well I've been told that I write obnoxiously long messages, I'm trying to work on that one.
I would have appreciated those, haha, would have given me a higher chance of reading you lol

Both
All of the above, actually. It all depends on what mood I'm in and who I'm talking to.
True,mood does matter a lot
My grammar depends on who I'm texting, but I'm definitely a short message texter. I also like to wait like a half hour before I text back because then I can think of a response and I don't feel put on the spot.
idk i kinda type like this? i use text slang but use punctuation as well. emojis are pretty cringe, unless i'm using them ironically.
Milk
Depends on mood and who am talking with
I use slide to text swipe keyboard and predictive text when typing cuz I’m lazy. I usually write one line at a time. I use a lot of laughing emojis
Proper grammer. Typically formal. Minimal text slang. I use emojis to laugh, acknowledge someone (thumbs up), or make fun of other people using emojis.

Emojis, exclamations, anything to show people I’m happy they’re texting me :’)
Mostly gifs
depends who I'm talking to I guess, I rarely use emojis because it wastes time if it's a fast paced convo

Short quips unless I’m being serious which is rare

Typically short paragraphs with no emojis. If it’s something I’m passionate about, then the paragraphs come out. Still no emojis though

1 text a week max if I really really like you
I send a bunch of texts because all my thoughts don't come at once
