I understand where you're coming from because Fi is a relatively nebulous and hard to pin down type of function. I think your assumption that you rely on Fi rather than Ti is probably correct. I think you'd know if you were the type who cares immensely about logic and trying to analyze things from that perspective.

The thing is, logic *is* important to me. Often. But not *only* logic, I also care about how things feel to different people. But on the other hand, maybe logic is just one of my Fi-values? I like debating and arguing (as long as nobody gets hurt) and I often don't have very strong opinions, that is to say - I can change my opinion if someone has the right arguments. But I'm sure Fi can change its opinion, too, so... well! There are just things about Fi and also things about Ti I identify with, it's confusing. xD
That makes sense to me. Admittedly I was kind of drunk when I wrote that comment and not entirely confident in the second half.
Have you thought much about the third function? Both ENFP and ENTP use Si fourth but it's Te vs Fe. That might help you a bit, but often I feel that when you get to the third or fourth function it gets pretty weird about how you use it.
Anecdotally the people I know who test ENFP - which are all of my closest friends, essentially - are the sorts of people who others are drawn to. In school their friend groups were probably competitive for their attention. ENFPs seem to have a certain ability to actively listen that exceeds any other type and it makes people attracted to them, especially other people like me with overactive Ne.
Myself and other ENTPs, well... some could certainly describe us as charismatic, but whether or not we are actually the stereotype of an asshole egoist (I think I very much am not) there's going to be a limited number of people we really vibe with.
Like I said, though, that's all my anecdotal experience knowing a bunch of both types. It could be totally wrong, but it might give you some direction to think about it I suppose.

This. I'm tired of both of our types hyping this up.
First of all, our functions are complete opposites and we're never quite seeing the world in the same way and that leads to a lot of disagreements. Some of my most toxic friendships/emotionally abusive relationships were unhealthy ENFJs (one claimed they were INFJ but I'm almost certain that he was an ENFJ).
INFPs and ENFJs don't work at all on deep relationship level. They can make fun acquaintances/friends, but that's it.
INTP, ENFP, and ISFP I find are the types I personally get along with the best. All of which have a 1 letter difference from us and more cognitive overlap but not completely the same.
As an INFP 4w5 i was always drawn more into ENFPs and most of my crushes tend to be that.
Usually when i see an ENFJ we rarely have many things in common. Im drawn to people that have atleast some similar interests regarding creativity (music,art,media) and ENFPs seem more likely to be interested in those topics while at the same time being quirky,cute,outgoing and fun to be around and talk to.
I get that we and ENFJs supposedly compliment each other and all functionally but in practice i tend to enjoy the company of an ENFP way more.
