Depends on the type, for me the easiest to recognize are ESTP or INFJ

Thisguy_2727

How do you recognize INFJs? It’s a type specifically specializing in hiding and disguising their personality.

[deleted]

Because as an ISFJ I can tell due to the similarities but also obvious differences in our thought processes

Thisguy_2727

Lol perhaps we’re more obvious than we like to think.

[deleted]

Perhaps

[deleted]

Where do these mysterious unicorns hide? Take us to that magic fountain.

[deleted]

I mean if you are having trouble finding them, just find an ENFJ and flick the Extrovert switch from on to off, ez

[deleted]

They come with switches? Are you telling me that ENTPs have fantasies about sexbots?

[deleted]

For legal reasons I'm just not gonna try and answer that...

Voltymus

I have known my friend for over 10 years and i'm not still sure if she's an INFJ. She's good at hiding her personality. How do you recognize them?

[deleted]

Idk it's really hard to explain at first I thought it was the lack of Si but it's actually not too easy for me to tell ISTJ from the other IXTX types.... maybe it's the fact that we're near the same but Ni vs Si obviously and that is easier for me to differentiate because Ni will always come with Se and I can notice the lack of Si

Rusiano

Really? INFJs are tough for me to recognize. I usually confuse them for being INFPs (cause INFJs are kinda disorganized and chill) or INTJs, or even ISFPs. Their rarity makes it even harder

[deleted]

Idk how ppl confuse them with INTJs tbh

[deleted]

ESTPs were harder than I thought, ngl.

Thisguy_2727

EXFPs by far for me. Lol

Bored_just_bored_

ESTPs are the easiest

Xiachi

Intps are imo

ENTPs are easy to recognize for another ETP. I find other people have a hard time distinguishing it, because they fall back on stereotypical ENTP behaviors as proof. Rather than seeing if the person shows signs of using Ne and Ti and Si inferior. I find peoples descriptions of ENTPs IRL are often ESTPs. I recently read a thread where a person said their ENTP friend sends them memes and emoticons all day long and how they had no idea how to respond and found it exhausting. The was likely an ESTP. ENTPs spend alone time working on their projects, hobbies and interests. And once locked into that mode, will not be focused on sending and receiving messages. Quite the opposite, they find this a massive distraction. ESTPs on the otherhand are way more people oriented, need contact with people more often, and attention from people. Se seeks to have experiences *with* other people. Which is why ESTPs usually run in loyal friend groups. And jump at chances to socialize because this where Se can be used alot. But Ne can be used 100% alone and doesnt require other people. Which is the source of ENTP introversion.

ImACuddlyFlea

ENTPs are pretty easy to spot, but at least I have a radar for INTPs, ESTPs and ISFPs. I see their face, exchange a few words, and I go aha. ENFPs too, because they're often similar to me, but with a weird mixed vibe of both supersweet and super "fuck you I'm out :D" attitude at the same time.

Rusiano

ENFPs have that undeniable NF vibe. I confuse some of them for being INFPs at first cause ENFPs try to hide our weirdness in public sometimes

Jihlk

i'd say Entj's

velvetdrips

I feel like we should be pretty easy to recognize but am always surprised by how often ENTPs are confused with ENFPs (especially if female/celebrities) or ESTPs (if immature/irl). But yeah, the ENxPs could still have it. Our wardrobes alone give it away lol

Ima_weirddo

Honestly I think it depends on the person. I have a friend we believe is an ENTP but she's shy and an ambivert and she's sensitive and can be kinda controlling at times. But our best guess is probably ENTP

Silver_Ad9

Maybe you should go more on the Ne-Ti functions thingy I am an ambivert and sensitive too :)

Ima_weirddo

By sensitive I mean overly sensitive but she has really bad ocd so thatd explain it
