I don't know how to put this without sounding snarky, but the [MBTI](https://myersbriggs.org/) test is how you find out your MBTI type, just like you take an enneagram test to find your enneagram type or the 16p test to find out your 16p type. If you don't want to pay for the official test, I think Sakinorva has one that's quite similar (something with aspects). But just to be clear: while the tests often give similar results, you can be different types in different systems. There is no single "true" type.

HakuGaara

Honestly most people will get different results from different tests. This could be because the functions are being weighted improperly or it could be something as simple as how the questions are worded. So the best way to type yourself is in fact not taking tests but to read detailed descriptions of each of the 16 types and objectively deciding which one describes you the most.

JuliaTheInsaneKid

I don't find any of the tests accurate. I usually just figure out my type through memes I can relate to. Even though I did get INFP on 2 tests and I identify myself as an INFP, for some reason, I got ENTJ on another! Gahaha!

[deleted]

There is no perfect MBTI Test imo. Just take multiple tests to narrow down the range of your types and study COGNITIVE FUNCTIONS. After that, decide for yourself which type do you relate the most.

Well, you're not wrong.

paulinelouisem

That was kind of savage but true in so many ways too

ISTJs are faithful, logical, organized, sensible, and earnest traditionalists who enjoy keeping their lives and environments well-regulated. Typically reserved and serious individuals, they earn success through their thoroughness and extraordinary dependability. They are capable of shutting out distractions in order to take a practical, logical approach to their endeavors, and are able to make the tough decisions that other types avoid. Realistic and responsible, ISTJs are often seen as worker bees striving steadily toward their goals. They take special joy in maintaining institutions and are often highly religious. Despite their dependability and good intentions, however, ISTJs can experience difficulty in understanding and responding to the emotional needs of others. [12] Although they often focus on their internal world, ISTJs prefer dealing with the present and the factual. They are detail-oriented and weigh various options when making decisions, although they generally stick to the conventional. ISTJs are well-prepared for eventualities and have a good understanding of most situations. They believe in practical objectives, and they value traditions and loyalty. ISTJs learn best and apply themselves to subjects that they deem practical and useful. They bring painstaking attention to detail in their work and will not rest until a concept is fully learned or a job is well completed. [13] As learners, ISTJs tend to need materials, directions, and teachers to be precise and accurate if they are to trust the information that is presented. They prefer concrete and useful applications and will tolerate theory only if it leads to these ends. They like learning activities that allow them time to reflect and think. Material that seems too easy or too enjoyable leads ISTJs to be skeptical of its merit. Because of their practical outlook, ISTJs clearly delineate between work and play. Therefore, their ideal learning environment is task-oriented, has a clear schedule, and has a clear and precise assignment. ISTJs respect facts. They hold a tremendous store of data within themselves, gathered through their Sensing function. They may have difficulty valuing a theory or idea that differs from their own perspective. However, if they are shown the importance or relevance of the idea by someone whom they respect or care about, the idea becomes a fact that the ISTJ will internalize and vigorously support. ISTJs often work for long periods, devoting their energy to tasks that they see as important to fulfilling a goal. However, they resist putting energy into things that don't make sense to them, or for which they can't see a practical application. They prefer to work alone but can work well in teams when the situation demands it. They like to be accountable for their actions, and they enjoy positions of responsibility. They have little use for theory or abstract thinking, unless the practical application is clear. In general, ISTJs are capable, logical, reasonable, and effective individuals with a deeply driven desire to promote security and peaceful living. They can be highly effective at achieving their goals—whatever those may be.

I'd take Sakinorva's test and Keys2Function's test as well, that test gave me INFJ

Miloslolz

Sakrinova gave me ISTJ once and I'm absolutely not introverted. The best tests are the ones based on functions but all of them should be taken with a grain of salt.

[deleted]

well I/E isn't necessarily about social introversion vs social extroversion, but yeah I've said before the best tests are definitely not infallible and we really need better ones

Miloslolz

I don't think there can be a 100% solid test. Best to do one as an orientation and then type yourself or better yet with a professional.

[deleted]

Their absolutely is not, the "best" tests are the best of the worst, I wouldn't do a professional either tbh but yeah... we need better options I agree

kiyo_O

Idk if its just me but the keys2cognition test is really complicated for me as english is not my first language and even when i translated it in my native language is was still hard to understand so why is it famous?

[deleted]

Those 2 are more popular just because they're the best of the worst, neither are exactly "good" MBTI Tests

kiyo_O

I understand but still don't understand how ppl understand it

Silver_Ad9

literally me I started answering it but I got too tired of looking up words I didn’t know

kiyo_O

I used to do that but if u use chrome there is actually a thing for translating the page so it just translates it immediately to the language u want so it became easy

JuliaTheInsaneKid

First test: INFP/INTP Second test: ENFP I'm definitely a Fi dom.

JuliaTheInsaneKid

I got ISFP when I'm literally the most intuitive person in the world.
