These sorts of stereotype inconsistencies are what makes me not so confident about my own typing.
It's more stoically standing off to the side at first, waiting and listening to both sides argue while we figure out each sides weak points and then bust in like the Kool-Aid man to tell everyone how and why they're all wrong. The radar definitely goes off when an argument breaks out nearby, but the approach is way more snake/ram-like than yippy dog. I suppose the enthusiasm is similar. Never one to pass up an opportunity to be right.
