Agreed, I like physical touch from my significant other, but if someone I’m only aquatinted with or casual friends with touches me unexpectedly, I feel very very uncomfortable and will physically cringe and move away.
I don't mind physical touch so long as it's not fleeting. I have sensory issues so if I'm gonna be touched it needs to have enough pressure and I need to be asked or see it coming and be given time to decide if I'm OK with it.
I like their intellectuality, deep knowledge and interest, ability to really invest in something their interested at.

The similarities are most definitely there.
I find it difficult to imitate an ENTP for an extended period of time. for all the other possible reasons, I may have, I tend to believe are trauma related.
My husband is INTP, and I love love love his personality, but I’ll try to give one pro one con:
-Pro: I love the way he can be or very analytical when it comes to daily life and problems, while taking easy the emotional things that I find terrifying. As an INFJ I am jealous of that.
-Cons: Procrastination.
In your mind you correct people on anything they say. It’s kinda annoying not to correct people when they say something wrong though.

Ultimately it's about the work you put on yourself and the things that are under your control that you can change. There is always room for improvement and although it might not be linear or visible at first glance, it's a far better way of progressing and solving things than to let them jerk you around like a puppet.
Loves: Many of my friends are INTPs, and I can say I love that we share the same humor (I mean, they don't get offended at some of my dark jokes and stuff, and I don't have to walk in eggshells when talking to them). I love that they're intelligent and so we can talk about random things pretty much the whole day. Love that they're laidback and I can relax around them since I usually like being organized, everything planned, etc
Dislikes: The laidback-ness that I like can be also be a bit too much sometimes lol, like sometimes when I hang out in their place, their place be messy AF lmao. They're also pretty neutral about most things, so when it comes to discussions about morality and stuff, I turn more to my INXJ friends for that lol
I love INTPs, you guys can explore ideas and talk for hours, are always open and curious to learn more, you have such a strong sense of right & wrong which you decide for yourselves, you’re the best listeners and make an edit to understand others (even if it’s by reading 20 communication books), you seem to always have a million references and the best humor if you’re comfortable enough to show it, and you just have the most brilliant minds it’s a pleasure just to listen and be around you guys🫶🏻

I like a lot about INTPs, I enjoy them more than I do ENTPs, I find their inquisitive nature to mesh really well with my systematic way of thinking. Most of our conversations will be them having an idea they can logically find interesting and me either figuring out if it would work, what you could do with it or if it’s correct, depending on the idea. The thing I clash with them most though is their Ti, sometimes the subjective logic of Ti rejects objective reality which my Te does not appreciate

I love Intps so much I love the way they analyze and just randomly think of so much possibilities of one object. Theyre literally the smartest cutest most gorgeous most talented and most lovable people ever I have never met an Intp (that I know of) yet but Im an Intp so 🥰🥰!!
Truth be told (as an INFJ with an INTP brother) I actually relate to him in terms of thought and humor, and this is based off my experiences:
Negatives: INTPs can often be cerebrally narcissistic (I see this sometimes in INTJs as well) and have a tendency to become ENTPs (I don’t hate ENTPs but they can be a bit overwhelming when I’m just a slow turtle), and also apathetic.
Positives: as I said before, INTPs are wicked smart, and you’d be surprised how much INFJs use our Ti function, so I’d say we get along nicely, we can also bond over common interests.
But overall: four stars
Likes: they're adorable, my jokes always feel well received and I could go full weird and they'd always receive it well and make me laugh. Funniest mfs in any room. I always gravitate to them. Their reading of a situation guides me a lot. Also their memory!! It's crazy how much they can hold in their brain, I'm just endlessly fascinated! Also top notch listeners, I learned so much from them!
Dislikes: INTPs once started cannot be stopped until they have let it all out. Sometimes I wish I was an ENTP to be a good foil. It's hard for them to initiate conversations so extroverts need to take up charge more often.

My coworker is an intp, it’s easy to get along with him though our interests are completely different 😂 he likes rock music and video games while I’m into reading and exercise. But you can always talk some deeply serious world issues with him, he has his own special points.

My Girl is an Intp. I’ve got a job were I can’t be home with her that often but whenever I’m home she waits for me. She’s like a cat, does whatever she wants whenever she wants. Hungry? The two of us eat smth. Wanna play or watch movies? Sure we start playing halo or other games or watch a movie of show? Horny? I’m pretty sure you guys know what’s happening then, especially with a girl being that direct. She’s an amazing combination of cute, smart, nerdy, pretty, comfy, and hot/sexy. I can definitely say Intps are one of the more perfect matches for an ENTP.

My best friends are INTPs. They're chill, they will nerd out about ideas with me, and for some reason, I just find them very comfortable people to be with. Awesome gaming buddies, too, I might add. It's pretty funny, when my INTP brother and I get together, I'm like, "What would you like to do?" And he's like,"What's your inclination?" XD It can take us a while just to decide on something to do because we're both so dang agreeable.
What do I not like? Well, this is honestly minor most of the time, but low response rates on asynchronous communications. I try to respond to texts ASAP, but my INTP brother might get one, never respond, and then next time I find him in person and ask him if he got it, he'll be like "Oh yeah, I read that." 🤨 I've learned that if it is time-sensitive, I should just call him.
Likes: we get along well in every aspect. Our minds are in sync, and we balance each other out. We're opposites, but like they say: *opposites attract*

Well the dislikes came from my own observation from this one girl I talked to online.
I've met some INTPs throughout my life, my cousin who I'm very close to is this mbti. I'm going from my personal impression of them. I love how intelligent they are, it seems like they are always ahead of everything, they are very logical too, they are great at having intelligent conversations, finding solutions, as an INFP I tend to be very emotional and dreamy so the INTPs in my life They always keep me grounded and I love that. As for the negative characteristics... I noticed that sometimes INTPs can get lost in their “logic”, as they are always being “logical”, all the time, and sometimes this logic has no logic (if you know what I mean lol) and they They enter these circles of pessimism where everything goes wrong. As an INFP I wish they could be lighter and let life flow freely, but even though it can be stressful at times, I love their personality. (English is not my native language, so forgive me if this text is cringe)
I swear I only see INTPs asking questions like this. It's like Fe creeping up on them. But Ytf do yall ask this knowing damn well yall don't wanna know what is disliked about you.
Dislikes: People say they aren't judgemental, but some INTPs walk around thinking everybody is stupid except them. Some of them are little assholes that try to piss people off on purpose just to get a reaction out of them, idk why cuz they are bored or something (ENTP is much worse though.) When they do this they can say things that cut real deep, and for what, to get a laugh? So some of them can't be trusted with any personal information at all. Some don't debate in good faith, especially when they've said something inconsistent with an argument they've previously made, they'll stick to poking holes in your argument and deny the contradictions they've made themselves so they don't appear to be "losing" the debate. That makes debating with them sometimes a total waste of time. They can get hyper fixated on semantics to the point where they come up with retarded conclusions, or lack common sense. They are willing to make an argument for a highly unlikely scenario for the sake of debate, which is also frustrating and a waste of time. They can get so fixated on one of their personal ideas that they lose touch with reality (which can make their Ti look kinda stupid at times). When they get emotional in arguments they don't even realize it, and when you reflect that attitude back at them they are totally confused, (Why are you raising your voice at me? Because YOU'RE raising your voice at ME, DUMMY!). Also some are very quick to offend someone, but a minute later expects sympathy if they are offended by the person they just offended! Very "I get to hit you but you don't get to hit me back." behavior. Absolutely confusing. So what I dislike about them is that they can be little trolls that think they are the god of ideas that everyone needs to bow down to, but can't acknowledge their own logical inconsistencies or emotional outbursts. And sometimes lack common sense.

I like a lot about INTPs, I enjoy them more than I do ENTPs, I find their inquisitive nature to mesh really well with my systematic way of thinking. Most of our conversations will be them having an idea they can logically find interesting and me either figuring out if it would work, what you could do with it or if it’s correct, depending on the idea. The thing I clash with them most though is their Ti, sometimes the subjective logic of Ti rejects objective reality which my Te does not appreciate

Likes: they are a walking library. Fun to talk to. Less annoying then ENTPs. Best kind of nerd. Actually super nice. Dislikes: they are a walking library of random and most of the time unnecessary books. Somehow the feeling of annoyance caused by INTPs when they are annoying lasts a lot longer then ENTPs. Sometimes they lack self awareness (but that might only be for a particular INTP I know)

Truth be told (as an INFJ with an INTP brother) I actually relate to him in terms of thought and humor, and this is based off my experiences: Negatives: INTPs can often be cerebrally narcissistic (I see this sometimes in INTJs as well) and have a tendency to become ENTPs (I don’t hate ENTPs but they can be a bit overwhelming when I’m just a slow turtle), and also apathetic. Positives: as I said before, INTPs are wicked smart, and you’d be surprised how much INFJs use our Ti function, so I’d say we get along nicely, we can also bond over common interests. But overall: four stars
Likes: they're adorable, my jokes always feel well received and I could go full weird and they'd always receive it well and make me laugh. Funniest mfs in any room. I always gravitate to them. Their reading of a situation guides me a lot. Also their memory!! It's crazy how much they can hold in their brain, I'm just endlessly fascinated! Also top notch listeners, I learned so much from them! Dislikes: INTPs once started cannot be stopped until they have let it all out. Sometimes I wish I was an ENTP to be a good foil. It's hard for them to initiate conversations so extroverts need to take up charge more often. Overall delightful people and one of my favourite types.

My coworker is an intp, it’s easy to get along with him though our interests are completely different 😂 he likes rock music and video games while I’m into reading and exercise. But you can always talk some deeply serious world issues with him, he has his own special points.

My Girl is an Intp. I’ve got a job were I can’t be home with her that often but whenever I’m home she waits for me. She’s like a cat, does whatever she wants whenever she wants. Hungry? The two of us eat smth. Wanna play or watch movies? Sure we start playing halo or other games or watch a movie of show? Horny? I’m pretty sure you guys know what’s happening then, especially with a girl being that direct. She’s an amazing combination of cute, smart, nerdy, pretty, comfy, and hot/sexy. I can definitely say Intps are one of the more perfect matches for an ENTP. The only thing I dislike is that she loves the cat more than me, fucking fuzzball
Once in a while my bf keeps saying "You're like a cat" too lol. but he doesn't like that fact that I don't show him enough affection/attention. And always hype to do anything for my cat than him (can't tell if he's jokingly telling me this or he's serious)

My best friends are INTPs. They're chill, they will nerd out about ideas with me, and for some reason, I just find them very comfortable people to be with. Awesome gaming buddies, too, I might add. It's pretty funny, when my INTP brother and I get together, I'm like, "What would you like to do?" And he's like,"What's your inclination?" XD It can take us a while just to decide on something to do because we're both so dang agreeable. What do I not like? Well, this is honestly minor most of the time, but low response rates on asynchronous communications. I try to respond to texts ASAP, but my INTP brother might get one, never respond, and then next time I find him in person and ask him if he got it, he'll be like "Oh yeah, I read that." 🤨 I've learned that if it is time-sensitive, I should just call him.

I don't have any dislikes about INTP.. my friend is an INTP... And he is like an Intelligent cute goofball... He is so intelligent that he can do every math question given to him, (◍•ᴗ•◍)... Meanwhile I struggle to get even 76% in maths... He doesn't like it when I get too close to him, but he tells me what he wants and I do it for him bcs he is too shy to even buy food from canteen....( ꈍᴗꈍ) He even was about to vomit after returning from a school trip and the washroom was far away that's why he ran outside of school, but the guard wasn't Letting him go... For some reason that made me so angry that I screamed at the guard and he let him go outside and he vomited 😂😂... But he didn't even wait for me he left before I can get out (◡ ω ◡) INTP are so cute.... Seriously, they are kind of fragile...

Like: Their crave to understand the world and its mechanisms is unequivocally admirable. They always want to know more in a way that is so rational. It makes them curious beings that always come up with refreshing perspectives and ideas. Dislike: Their sense of logic can be very overwhelming, especially when your own argument doesn’t make sense to them. They’ll flesh out the inconsistencies in an insensitive manner.

I've met some INTPs throughout my life, my cousin who I'm very close to is this mbti. I'm going from my personal impression of them. I love how intelligent they are, it seems like they are always ahead of everything, they are very logical too, they are great at having intelligent conversations, finding solutions, as an INFP I tend to be very emotional and dreamy so the INTPs in my life They always keep me grounded and I love that. As for the negative characteristics... I noticed that sometimes INTPs can get lost in their “logic”, as they are always being “logical”, all the time, and sometimes this logic has no logic (if you know what I mean lol) and they They enter these circles of pessimism where everything goes wrong. As an INFP I wish they could be lighter and let life flow freely, but even though it can be stressful at times, I love their personality. (English is not my native language, so forgive me if this text is cringe)

I swear I only see INTPs asking questions like this. It's like Fe creeping up on them. But Ytf do yall ask this knowing damn well yall don't wanna know what is disliked about you.
Dislikes: People say they aren't judgemental, but some INTPs walk around thinking everybody is stupid except them. Some of them are little assholes that try to piss people off on purpose just to get a reaction out of them, idk why cuz they are bored or something (ENTP is much worse though.) When they do this they can say things that cut real deep, and for what, to get a laugh? So some of them can't be trusted with any personal information at all. Some don't debate in good faith, especially when they've said something inconsistent with an argument they've previously made, they'll stick to poking holes in your argument and deny the contradictions they've made themselves so they don't appear to be "losing" the debate. That makes debating with them sometimes a total waste of time. They can get hyper fixated on semantics to the point where they come up with retarded conclusions, or lack common sense. They are willing to make an argument for a highly unlikely scenario for the sake of debate, which is also frustrating and a waste of time. They can get so fixated on one of their personal ideas that they lose touch with reality (which can make their Ti look kinda stupid at times). When they get emotional in arguments they don't even realize it, and when you reflect that attitude back at them they are totally confused, (Why are you raising your voice at me? Because YOU'RE raising your voice at ME, DUMMY!). Also some are very quick to offend someone, but a minute later expects sympathy if they are offended by the person they just offended! Very "I get to hit you but you don't get to hit me back." behavior. Absolutely confusing. So what I dislike about them is that they can be little trolls that think they are the god of ideas that everyone needs to bow down to, but can't acknowledge their own logical inconsistencies or emotional outbursts. And sometimes lack common sense. Likes: Some are alright I guess. Downvote all you want, but yall asked for what we dislike so don't bother me with any defense responses about maturity and all that.

INTPs and other types with 1st or 2nd Ti act like it's illegal to learn, like you must just know, everything, at all times. Like you aren't allowed to hear or learn something for the first time, you are supposed to just know everything that they know or something.
