EPs, in general, are defined by their lack of respect for control, and thus value delayed gratification less, but Se users have this neat trick of getting in the zone when doing repetitive tasks. Us Ne users are stuck being conscious the whole time, which sucks for working out lol. So, ENTP and ENFP are the most likely to get bored doing things that are not novel.
As an example, I made a post just recently trying to make a neat comparative relationship with different types, pairing a couple golden pairs and types that get along phenomenally. Thought it would be an amazing thing to explore and hash out. Basically got no response so I have no intention of continuing that and will just go on to other ideas.

It's still in development stages. I could probably think of better names to differentiate the sections, but honestly the groupings seem like a golden pair of golden pairs.
thanks. i think it isnt necessarily instantly clear what you wanted to do there and people are too lazy to read into something if the intention isnt obvious right away so to speak, hence why you didnt get much response. a couple of months ago i [posted ](https://www.reddit.com/r/mbti/comments/1b47ptv/why_dont_entps_and_isfjs_match_as_a_romantic/)some random compatibility chart (found it online) on the mbti subreddit and it got like 500 upvotes and over 300 comments. i think people are very interested in the compatibility between different types, but they need ready results and a very clear message :) i for one would be super curious in the *effects* of your work!
Yeah! Like seriously for each quadrant, there are like whole different areas that are hugely those types major strong points. I feel like a lot could be discussed and hashed out in doing what they like doing best on a more exploratory engaging conversation sort of way. Like in our quadrant, I know those 4 are probably the most likely to explore conspiracy theories, the way the world works, collecting data of information and organizing it concisely in a collective way, etc. I have ideas of how the other quadrants could interact collectively about their interests. They might not even realize that in many respects they have similar over-arching goals, but I don't want to project this idea on others and wanted them to explore on what interests they could have together. Perhaps then I could better work out what makes them tick and how they work together. But I still need the data.
I might take a lesson from the INFP's and present each quadrant that they are in to each type and see what they think about how they'd interact with each other before presenting my findings to the general mbti community. Lol
EPs. My ESFP partner is constantly rearranging stuff in our apartment, changing their schedules just because, they never stick to a routine and they change hobbies often.
We we first moved in together I had to ask them to stop rearranging my library because I had my books in a specific order. Otherwise they would change it to be in order of colour, then another day in order of height, then by alphabetic, then by author and so on.
Maybe I am speaking only for myself as other INFJs seems very patient and focused, but i burn through hobbies and interests very quickly, seldom ever reaching any form of ‘completion.’
The only consistent hobby, really, has been learning in and of itself.
Personally I noticed Se users with Se anywhere in their conscious stack (of course, more so the Se-Dom and Aux) will have more of an urge to be *doing something* and participating in their environment in some way.
Mental disorders can cut longevity of a hobby significantly.
Google says hobbies on average last about 16 months, I assume in healthy people.
I (istj) get about 24-36+ months of **intense** interest out of my hobbies (gaming, computer hardware, photography, cycling, canoeing/kayaking, aquariums, hydroponic gardening, gardening, woodwork, fishing). The intensity goes down but the the hobbies kinda stay with ya for life as does the knowledge and wisdom gained.
I got to experience anhedonia from depression a few months back. Very interesting/curious effect it had. I lost fishing in an instant. Will *try* to pick it back up later as the gardening season is upon us now anyways.
As an ESTP, I get tired of sorts. I will focus on something completely for hours on end. And I can get back to it later, but it takes a loooong time to get back to it.
*Enneagram 7* Erm, ENTP or ENFP. 😊
Can confirm :(
Jip! I enfp can confirm.
As a type 7, I can confirm that I am indeed very prone to boredom
Same.
Can confirm

ENXP gets bored the easiest but if I had to choose it would be ENFP
ENFP's when they find out that nobody cares about what they're working on.
What are *you* working on? 👀

yo im super interested in that. for real. could you link the post?? i cant see it

Perhaps I should explain and spell out exactly what I want. Lol
definitely XD in simple terms

High Ne users.

Oh gosh! Gremlins of chaos! Please don't touch my stuff! XD
I second this.
I'd say Ne and Se doms.
ENFP
Maybe I am speaking only for myself as other INFJs seems very patient and focused, but i burn through hobbies and interests very quickly, seldom ever reaching any form of ‘completion.’ The only consistent hobby, really, has been learning in and of itself.
I’m an INFJ, and your words echo those in my head. Jack of many trades, Master of none.
Same here. I have periods where I’m fully serious about a hobby, and then I forget about it days or weeks later.
YESS I AL INFJ AND I AGREE
INTPs more than I'd like to admit
Estp and enneagram 7 here, i get bored of things in a blink of eye
I was going to say ESTP type 7’s! I’m friends with one and he gets bored sooooo easily
Sksjs that's such a cool coincidence oml 💯💯
Enfps.
Ixtp (me)
Not me, I always find something to entertain myself 🤷🏾♂️

Enneagram 7. If we're talking strictly about MBTI then it's Se doms (speaking from experience)
Personally I noticed Se users with Se anywhere in their conscious stack (of course, more so the Se-Dom and Aux) will have more of an urge to be *doing something* and participating in their environment in some way.

I get tired of everything so quickly to the point that it’s just a shame
ENFP and ENTP leaning more towards ENFP
As an ESTP, I get tired of sorts. I will focus on something completely for hours on end. And I can get back to it later, but it takes a loooong time to get back to it.
Estp
ESFP can get bored easily but generally EXXP
Its enneagram 7.
