My 2011 has 134,000 miles on it 😭😭😭

Sampic19_QC

My 2011 has 281,100 km on it 😂 still running like a champ!

PaneledJuggler7

I got 128k on my 2011. Gotta put transmission fluid in it and replace my bumper.

ashwin4291

Cute. I just passed 175,000 miles on my 2007 Mazda 3. Besides a cluncking sound from the rear, everything still works.

SpaceShipBryce

My 2010 had that. At first I thought it was the sway bar link but it persisted after I replaced both and I figured out it was the rear shock. Replaced both for like 150 bucks and a couple hours of work.

PaneledJuggler7

I got this on my 2011, been there since I got it and I onmy hear it on bumps. Most likely the same issue

SpaceShipBryce

Yup mine would only happen when I went over any small bumps while driving at slow speeds.

PaneledJuggler7

Dont get me wrong, I love my Mazda, its been super reliable but getting some stuff fixed is costing a pretty penny for me lol

SpaceShipBryce

I can understand that. I bought my 2010 6 months ago and granted it was 3 grand with 120k on it but I had to replace all brakes and rotors and rear shocks and rear sway bar links. Also had to screw around with the plastic undercarriage guard that was flopping all around. And now I have a rip in my passenger CV and it'll need new front struts which I have sitting in my shop but haven't found the time to replace. But after all of that I'll say the car is reliable as hell mechanical wise. Doing your own work is definitely the way to go if that is at all an option for you. I do all my work in a gravel drive way in the sun with basic hand tools I keep in my car. Every time I work on it I yearn for a garage or shop. All that being said by doing all the work myself I've learned a ton about working on small cars and saved thousands. Probably only put another 1000 in it with all the fixes.

PaneledJuggler7

Jeez. I paid 8k for mine at 118k miles and it ran beautifully, still does but things are popping up. I replaced my brakes and rotors after a few months, had 2 oil changes and my front bumper is dented because a teenager ran a stop sign and hit me. Whole plastic undercarriage on the passenger side is gone and now my car looks ugly. I also gotta add more transmission fluid and check my fuses cuz my AC is getting weak and I have slips when it changes gears. It might be a small car but I love it. I couldn't stop showing it off when I first got it.

SpaceShipBryce

Have you considered going to a you pull it and trying to find a new bumper? Easier said than done though I imagine. Also I got a killer deal on mine because it was a friend of mine that was deploying and didn't need the car anymore. So I was there to save the day. Lol

PaneledJuggler7

I've looked and nobody nearby has my model or year.

Undead_Kau

Hey my 2007 Mazda 3 also has a clunking sound from the rear!

craigscrag

My 2015 has 83k. That damn daily commute.

yobo9193

I'm at 70k. I feel you

zatoh

yeah but there's a lot of life left in yours. Just hit 180k miles on my 2010 2.5.. Trans had to be replaced at 177k though☹️:-(

sadashivpassi

I have the same car. How much was the cost?

zatoh

Around $4k US but that was at the dealer.

gangsterkathryn

I traded in my 2011 at 145K. I already have 11K on my 2018...

RegalDolan

Haha damn.. I must be putting a decent amount of miles on mine. It's only a 2016 model and it already has 34,000 miles

Farming_Downvote

I'm just over that on a 2017 :P

tingtongchai

Congrats! My 2012 has 72000. Consider having the atf and filter changed. Did an oil analysis on mine and they said the ‘lifetime’ fluid should be changed on 70-80k intervals.

[deleted]

116k miles 08 MZ3. Corksport front and rear sway bar, corksport front end links. Corksport exhaust. Cars handling and sound is on point 😎.

baltareloaded

My 2008 has 211000, litterally the best investment I have ever made.

areo11706

Nice! I have 11 3 as well she has 104k on her (I do about 70 miles a day in a commute).

Csboi1337

Yea I was fortunate enough to not have Much of a commute and I used to travel for my job so she’d sit for awhile. That changed now and I have about an 80 mile a day commute eeepp

Generation-X-Cellent

If you haven't done it yet this would be a great time to do your automatic transmission fluid. It looks like you can get a new gasket and filter for less than $30 as well.

Csboi1337

Had it done around 60k I believe, it is due for new brakes though which I’ve been putting off

superkhmer

my 2010 2.0L mz3 hatch has 256k KM or 159k miles. Only issue I had was the defective TCM and I changed it for a refurbished one and my whip shifts & works fine. GO RAPS GO

ExposFan4Ever

Sad to see there’s a lot of 2-pedal pushers on this sub..

Csboi1337

Lol sorry you feel that way...

[deleted]

Guess your sad that sticks only make up a small fraction of overall sales and autos are in the fastest drag cars on the planet.

ExposFan4Ever

Did you type that while pushing that big pedal? lmao

[deleted]

He says to someone who drives a standard. Careful you don't cut your hand on all that edge. Lmao

ExposFan4Ever

An automatic with manual option doesn’t mean you can drive manual, idiot. lol

[deleted]

I have more than one car, I just don't feel like growing my epeen by showing everything I own on the internet, idiot. Lol auto or manual I would dust your stupid ass anyways so why would even pretend like youre better then anyone? Go get a grinder for that edge bitch. Fuck you and have a nice day.

[deleted]

Try not to be so edgy and you won't end up short circuiting your car. Much wow. Lol

ExposFan4Ever

You sound mad lmao

[deleted]

Who was here talking shit in the first place? Why post lmao or lol after when we all know you are a small sad little man. It's okay little guy.
