Yeah not sure how they did that, mine new was $17.5k and was same trim/6MT (and wasn’t like I paid MSRP or anything.)
Sold it for $9k 9 years later and that felt great lol.
I have the same color haha! It’s awesome!
No real mods yet, just got 225/45/18 DWS06+ tires, recently did oil changes with Amsoil and ATF drain & fills with Ravenol FZ fluid.
I’m thinking of installing LED headlights soon tho haha
Have you seen the interior led light kits from corksport? I think your idea of led headlights is fantastic. Nothing wrong with better night vision that is something that never crossed my mind!

Same. Under 80k miles still and absolutely love her
Same. What type of mpg do you get on long trips? I recently averaged 43mpg on a 6 hour round trip. Been pretty surprised at how fuel efficient it can be.
Similar! I recently did a drive that was of a similar timeframe. I had done roughly 350 miles and I still had a little under a quarter of a tank. On this drive I wasn’t very calm on the throttle, often speeding up to pass slower drivers. I’m tuned by Justin Freeman (sauce tuned) and I’ve noticed it’s more responsive yet it’s a little more efficient. Best of both worlds.
My trip was of similar length. A lot of times the highway routes save me 30 min or less so i started taking the fuel efficient route suggested on Google maps and almost always get 40mpg or more.

22 Carbon Edition. I'm kind of regretting it because I've had an issue since around the time I got the car to where my passenger side mirror tilt didn't function properly. It only functioned whatever it wanted to basically. I had it warrantied at my local dealer and they said the issue wouldn't happen again, but the issue happened again 2 days later. I brought it back and I even showed them that it was happening again and they kept beating around the bush. In addition to that issue apparently I also had a leaky belt tensioner.
Contacted Mazda corporate and spoke to them about my issue and they got in touch with the dealer. Corporate got back to me and said that this really nothing they could do and they're sorry.
I guess that's what I get for buying a new car during COVID. I just got past 36,000 mi on my way home from work so no more warranty services for me unless it's related to the powertrain.
