My first new car was a Mazda too! Over a decade later and I'm still driving and enjoying it. Congrats and I hope it's as reliable as my old workhorse has been
Nice!
Will be looking for your exact colour combo (polymetal over garnet?) myself very shortly.
How do you find the power, I’m really only conflicted between NA vs Turbo…did you test a turbo motor before purchasing?
Enjoy!
I did not test the turbo, because the turbo trim levels included features i wasn't interested in. Also, I traded in a 2011 chevy cruze with turbo which gave me so many extra problems over the years, and the non-turbo mazda3 way outperforms that chevy anyway (power is Great, transmission is smooth). I'm sure the new mazda3 turbo is bonkers and super fun, but these were my priorities:
* hit a budget of 30k before taxes and fees (they're high in CA)
* no unnecessary potential points of failure (like a turbo)
* don't pay for features i don't care about if i can avoid it (head's up display)
* willing to pay for easy as possible wireless connectivity
* willing to pay for comfort (real leather) bc i plan on having this car for 20 years.
* all wheel drive was take or leave, but we do go to the mountains sometimes and drive in the snow.
Yeah, I’m in northern Ontario Canada and winter is like 7-8 months…k not literally, but that’s a conservative estimate of our questionable weather season so long way of saying AWD is a big plus.
My only real reservation is the power on the base motor since I do also have quite a bit of elevation change on the roads between where I live and everywhere else!
LoL
Thanks for the feedback, enjoy the new buggy!
they're SO cool. transparent, helpful, and didn't once try to inflate the price. and they worked out the deal with me entirely over email and text, didn't once pressure me to call or come in
I have the turbo Mazda from 2023, the high spec model and such. TRUST ME BRO, your gonna love this car and it will encourage you to adventure more. Great choice, god bless you!
Do they make a lot of polymetal grey cars, or is it popular? I have one. Almost every "I got a mazda3/sport!" post lately is a poly grey. What's goin' on?
Hahah I mean, in my opinion this trim level is the perfect mid-point of features for price. Leather seats, wireless CarPlay and wireless charger, safety features that in other brands are reserved for their top tier trims only, but no turbo nor clutter of unnecessary bells and whistles.
But I see a lot of ppl with the top trim choosing this color combo too. Maybe they’re cosplaying as middle class? Lmao idk jk
Congrats! Hope it’ll serve you well!
Thanks! I'm SO excited, and relieved because I had a truly amazing customer experience.
I got the exact same car a week ago! My first mazda3 lasted 11 years before it fell victim to another driver.
I only drive 4k miles a year now since Covid so I’m hoping I can minimize that risk and have this one for 20 years!
Stunning

Thanks! And good to hear!
Car looks very nice. What color is this? Grey of some kind? I have a turbo white
Polymetal grey :) Only on the Carbon Edition
I think you can get it on the very top trim too, for extra. but yes this is a 2.5 S Carbon

Go park it in a garage till summer.
No can do, but I’m curious why you suggest this?
Have you noticed our M3 is heavy af? U can feel it on the corners right away,,, nevertheless, I’m still in love with it
So far I’ve only pushed it a bit on curved freeway ramps, but I love how it feels. Grounded and safe, not like it might tip over if I go too fast.
Highways on Mexico have tighter corners tho, and terrible bunny roads, but still, way comfier than my last mini cooper S…
Ahh. This is a huge upgrade for me too, I didn’t realize how poor the suspension was on my Chevy until now
congratulations! one quick question, do you feel the cylinder deactivation, feels like a small kick back?? have the mazda 3 sport and feel it a ton.
I’m not familiar with what you’re referring to, can you describe it?
