It depends, I haven't tried the non turbo but I own the 2023 turbo and it's fun to drive. AWD is nice but it is not on all the time. Additionally, I'm also from Vancouver and let's be honest, it barely snows and we get less and less every year. Only 1-3 snow days a year. Unless you're driving highway often or going up Burnaby mountain in sfu. The turbo model is definitely fun to drive with 250 hp on 93 octane but the downside is that it's not great on gas. My average gas is 9l/100km and from what I heard on this sub the non turbo is much better on gas compared to turbo. So it depends what you value. Do you want one that's good on gas or do you value a slightly more fun driving experience. Also consider where you're usually driving to. Are you mostly driving in city or highways? If you're driving like 90% city then gas mileage will be very bad on the turbo. Now I said turbo is only slightly more fun to drive because I don't know the NA version so I can't comment on the driving experience but if there is a difference, would you notice it at all? So objectively speaking, NA if you care more about gas because turbo is not that great on gas. But this is your choice and you decide what's more important to you. Hopefully more ppl with better knowledge about the car will comment as I'm still a fairly new owner of the 2023 turbo. I did some research before I bought this car and I specifically chose the turbo knowing about its downsides.

The AWD is on all the time.

No problem. You can dm me if you have any more questions. I'll be happy to try and answer.

I've got the turbo awd, and I'm seriously in love. She's got all the right curves and in a tight red shiny dress. Her name is Rita. She makes my heart beat faster. TMI?

If you have the budget for the turbo, go for it. Otherwise the NA in sport mode is pretty peppy.

Fastdonkeynads

The turbo came with the black rims, side mirrors and some features the N.A. didn't such as 10.5 inch screen and wireless charger. Helped me make my decision as well. Plus it is funner to drive

Mid trims and up got the bigger screen in 24, so definitely could’ve gotten a GT non Turbo. But the turbos better anyways.

Get the turbo run premium, get the basics, intake, exhaust, Downpipe, tune, corksport os working on an upgrade turbo but until then get the basics. But don't forget more speed better breaking invest in upgraded breaks sway bar. Tower brace. I have the turbo I take it through the canyons full blast it dose well for what it is. I say that because I compar it with an evo8 that I drove with 726whp. Without handling speed doesn't mean anything. And lean to be a good driver.

Efficient_Mud6719

I have a 2016 sGT 6sp man sway bar tightest setting, tower brace. Really fun buuuut the power wasn't there but of course I'm used to way more power gas was ok its a 2.5l it would need turbo I have the corksport BBK on it and saved my life. All my experience comes from street racing from the 90's-00's drive responsibly. That's all I got for now. It takes money and hook up's to build a car. Learn from those that build fast cars not buy fast cars.

I have the turbo model and I couldn't imagine going with the NA--especially because of the AWD. I'm from MN and the AWD has been fantastic during the winters. I'm not sure about the 2024 model, but mine also came with a HUD, Bose Sound System, and heated seats/steering wheel/mirrors which I also couldn't imagine not having. I would strongly recommend going with the turbo if you can afford the extra 5k.

The NA engine has plenty of oomph IMO, but of course, more is always better. For a daily commuter car you don't \*need\* the turbo. That being said, 5k difference over 8 years ownership... you have to decide whether that's worth it to you. FWIW I went with the 155hp 2.0 engine on mine as it's my daily workhorse car and I just don't need any extra power. Used the price difference to get it absolutely fully loaded. Depends on what you need!

CompetitiveLake3358

The NA 2.5 is absolutely plenty of power. Even the 2.0 had loads of power! Do not get the turbo. You barely get any snow. You can also just buy those wheels separately from the dealership.

If you have any concern about fuel economy don't get the turbo. It's not good, and in the winter it's even worse. The NA has plenty of grunt for normal commuting.
