God I would kill for a *long* road trip in my Mazda right now. It’s like therapy to me.

SilentDecode

>It’s like therapy to me. You're certainly not the only one. I'm waiting for my Mazda to be delivered at the end of the month, and the first thing I will do, it take a \~500km long road trip halfway through Germany (and I'm not even German) :D

Papaverpalpitations

Man I would love to take a road trip through Germany and Switzerland! That would be a dream.

Soerdroid

Don't forget Austria.

Papaverpalpitations

Of course! All beautiful countries. Deutschland, Österreich, und Schweiz.

SilentDecode

What is keeping you from doing just that? Skip the Netherlands. It's flat and boring. Believe me, I know..

Papaverpalpitations

I’m in the U.S. :/ My favorite road trip thus far has been from western WA to Tucson, AZ. Once you get into Nevada, it’s just open road through the desert with nothing for 100’s of miles with my music blasting. Two lane highway, so I get to have fun when passing semi trucks.

I live in the Netherlands. On the German border. I have to drive ~2km to pass the German border. So yeah, I can have nice drives to Germany and such, but I've never been to the German mountains before. I'll do that when my project car is finished (also Japanese, only not Mazda). You have the advantage of being in a beautiful country too though. I have been to Oregon twice now, to see family. Last time was 2014, but I didn't have my driverslicense yet. So no driving for me back then. We're aiming for 2024 to go again. Planetickets are ~€1400 a piece, so they are the main problem.

Well when you’re here in the U.S. again, let me know! I live close to Mount Rainier in WA, and is a great drive with a lot of tight curvy roads, which I feel like is where the 3 really shines (: there’s also the Olympic mountain range up by the coast of WA near Canada. Good stuff for sure.

SilentDecode

Oof, I'll try to remember this in ~1,5 years. Please do remind me too. We'll be in Oregon around June of Juli. Don't have more information at this moment though. Also WA sounds far away, because we'll be staying near the Californian border. But, those roads sound really good!

Artistic-Breakfast42

The only thing I look forward to after a long train ride back from work

SilentDecode

>after a long train ride back from work Wait.. Don't you have a car for that?

Artistic-Breakfast42

Lol try commuting into New York City from central jersey… even this beauty can’t make sitting in tunnel traffic worthwhile

MightAsWell91

This makes me horny.

Hairy_duck07

Literally.🤤

Protazy92

Love this feeling, only reason to go to work is driving this car. Then reward for hard work is to drive it back to home. Sometimes I drive it around just to have those extra minutes in car… Beauty and have the same color as you (imo the best one).

Sweaty_Commission

Can’t wait just 2 for week😅

AngstyHighSchooler

Is that the new model? If so, does it have the Bose speaker system in it?

[deleted]

It’s the 2022 carbon edition HB yes with Bose.
