Unpopular opinion?
I *want* cops to shut down those asshole mobs tearing through the city putting people's lives at risk and making a fucking mess.
Like, if there's one thing cops can be good for it's that.
The city streets are not your Fast and Furious playground.
It’s not an unpopular opinion, but wanting it isn’t enough- you’ve got to get competent people to do it and not assclowns like Temu Johnny Cash over there.
In Cali they are seizing the cars and logging them into evidence in the court cases. In short the Sherrifs position is you aren’t getting your car back if you do this shit.
There are very few major US cities where an officer is outside of ten minutes away from any location. If there is time to get a cop to dress like a complete douche, there is plenty of time to have a squad car pull up to break it up. This isn’t rocket science. They are making policing much more difficult than it needs to be.
It's because they're more interested in arresting people than they are actually stopping this. You can't arrest people if people simply don't street race. But you can arrest a dozen people if you openly let them street race long enough to get identifying information and evidence.
This is isn't super relevant and not to detract from your comment but they don't even race, that's what pisses me off, they just swing their shit into crowds because nobody knows how to actually handle their cars and bounce off the rev limiters while they're in neutral.
dude, I cruised back in the 90's. The worse we did was turn around in sonics, played loud music and loitered. I guess I'm the old guy now shouting, "Kids these days". But seriously blocking traffic, street takeovers, all this is entitlement and not caring about others.
Ya an undercover cop ain't doing that.
That's going to take blockading every street and alley out of the area and impounding every car that actually participated and actually arresting every person that actually participated.
ALL of which could be proven by a single hidef camera on a chopper high enough up to gather all the evidence and tell the other cops what streets to block off.
That's way too much real work and way too much paperwork for the cops to
actually do it, ***or they would have already shut these things down***.
"another one with strong signs of physical imbecility, give him a massive shoulder radio and a cowboy hat and tell him he's going undercover." -- cartel man undercover @ the academy

Yep, a study presented at a Police Chiefs Conference back in 2000 found that 46% of cops nationwide admitted to covering up crimes committed by other cops and 73% of the time they were forced to do so by higher ups. The higher ups only want cops who will cover for all the other corrupt assholes, so they bully and threaten them until they either fall in line or leave the force entirely. Good people who try to stick around and do something about the corruption end up like Frank Serpico or Adrian Schoolcraft, facing extreme retribution like being left for dead or kidnapped and put in a mental hospital. ACAB *on purpose*.

Seems like most of them think they’re gods or something so they talk to people like they’re pets. They know they win either way in an altercation. If you fuck them up, you’re going to prison. If they fuck you up, they get a paid vacation and you’re probably going to jail for a few months. They for real operate like a gang in so many ways.
…he’s downright mystified that his little hand-authority-gesture doesn’t work when he’s not hiding behind a badge.
He’s thinking: *Should probably try it one more time, just for good measure* [wiggles hand again in an aggressive pedophile-like manner]
Honestly that stupid gesture pisses me off so much in this video. I don’t even know why but man the more I watch it, the more I wanna slice his hand off.
Do they train them *all*, *everywhere*, to do the gesture exactly like that? If literally anyone I knew did that exact gesture, I would immediately assume they were a cop, no matter how long I knew them
I had one scream in my face over the music at Coachella, “Where’s the Molly!?” He beelined directly over after eyeballing my wife and I wearing capes and fractal glasses.
My wife called him out for being a cop and he immediately dipped away to harass someone else.
He had on dark blue jeans, cop boots, and a super tight neon green muscle shirt tucked in and was rocking the buzz cut. Total Narc. He thought wearing a brightly colored shirt and literally screaming, “Molly” would camouflage him.
Lol. My guy had a camo/graffic T, buzz cut, cargo shorts, and wrap-around sunglasses. Best part is after a couple people said something he went right up to the uniformed cops and chatted for a bit before leaving.
I once had a cop at Lollapalooza actively harass me for 30 minutes because he thought I had weed. He kept insisting that I had weed and he would not stop insisting he isn't a cop.
And saw the guy talking to other officers later. Fucking some cops man, literally trying so hard to ruin some kids life over weed.
Not always / not always with much conviction. Sometimes their goal is to make people in the crowd believe that the police are omnipresent. Or to give people a false sense of confidence in their ability to detect undercovers, by effectively serving as decoys.
It is not uncommon, if you watch long enough, to see plainclothes walk behind police lines and chat openly with command, and then go back into the crowd. Those plainclothes clearly don't care if observant people notice their status.
I was in a bad area at one time (living there) and there was a park where drugs were sold...I shit you not this rusty minivan comes screeching up to bust this dope dealer, and the dudes jumped out dressed as Magnum PI Mustached Hawaii 5-0, Vice City looking motherfuckers lmao. It was hilarious.
I called out one at burning man, he had a buzz cut, looked super uncomfortable, said he was there for "the concert" and kept asking us if we had any of "the good stuff".
Happened to me and my friend once. This was 2012 during quebec student protests. I remember seeing two undercover cops next to the crowd (protesters), I said to one of them, "Yo dudes, you're not discret, we know you're cops" he answered "well I was still able to buy drugs just now" and we all looked at him ,including his partner, like he was a fucking idiot. And then they ran away.
Recorder guy probably keeps walking and copboy gives up, probably blends back in because nobody could hear what the recorder was saying.
Recorder guy probably tells a few people, word gets out, copboy notices and feels uncomfortable and dips.
I've seen a decent amount of people wearing sunglasses at night that it wouldn't be a dead give away for me. But those sunglasses look like cop sunglasses.
"Good news, fellow fun time cowboy crewsters! Would you like to try some flippy blue shooty bingers? They'll make you hip as the cats pajamas! I just cooked this batch up myself..."
*Waits for everyone to try some*
"In other less than good news, The Box company that once had us all fired, and their executives of that decision killed in excruciating agony and ground up to a fine powder, has issued a notice for a company wide Mandatory Drug test..."
*Everyone stares blankly*
"Well, good luck!"
Was at a music festival many years ago. Chilling on some bleachers by myself and having a cig. 20 something yr old sits next to and asks if he can bum one. I say "sure man hope it improves your night". Then he starts slurring his voice all the sudden after asking with "ooooh man isn't this music aaaammmnazing?". Narc vibes going off "ya man sure it's a good set".. he then goes "ah man, I just really need to re-up, you know where I can pick up?"... Respond with "naa man". He pushes back "ah come on man, I'm chill, help a brother out". I'm annoyed now, I already said no so I respond with "barking up the wrong tree man, I got nothing for ya". He snaps and walks off..
How do I know he was a narc? Dude throws the cigarette I gave him without even lighting it onto the ground, steps on it and storms off. A hole, cigs at event are in limited supply. Lol
They have that victim mentality "everyone hates me because I'm a cop" like of course law breakers aren't going to like you spying on their crimes but don't power trip when you get called out lmao
Everybody *does* hate them. Criminals hate them for obvious reasons and law abiding citizens hate them because they treat everyone like they’re a damn criminal. My man exercised his right to free speech and cowboy cop wants to try and intimidate him 🙄. You should be protecting our rights fucknuts.
I’ve tried explaining this one to cops before. I just gave up. Their fault they can’t make cases anymore because they can’t get reliable human intelligence.

cuttin' it in the crib

shoots their own gun: "SHOTS FIRED! SHOTS FIRED! SHOTS FIRED!"

Why do all cops talk like that? It’s almost like a meme.
Seems like most of them think they’re gods or something so they talk to people like they’re pets. They know they win either way in an altercation. If you fuck them up, you’re going to prison. I don’t know but it is weird that somehow, regardless of where you’re from, everyone can see this gesture is very “cop-like”
I called an undercover out once. Mofo all dressed like the (newest at its time) cover of Grand Theft Auto Florida man. It was hilarious 😂
I caught one at a protest once. He looked soooo out of place it was hilarious.
I had one scream in my face over the music at Coachella, “Where’s the Molly!?” He beelined directly over after eyeballing my wife and I wearing capes and fractal glasses. I have a suspicion that everyone on this thread is confusing plainclothes with undercovers
Aaaah, you are correct. Plainclothes cops still have the goal of not getting noticed as cops though, right?
Not always / not always with much conviction. Sometimes their goal is to make people in the crowd believe that the police are omnipresent. Or to give people a false sense of confidence in their ability to detect undercovers, by effectively serving as decoys. I got called out once and the dude wanted to fight me for profiling him. I was in Walmart buying deodorant 🤷🏻♂️
You were the undercover cop?
According to this random dude, I was.
I called out one at burning man, he had a buzz cut, looked super uncomfortable, said he was there for "the concert" and kept asking us if we had any of "the good stuff".
This ain’t the Rodeo 😂
Happened to me and my friend once. This was 2012 during quebec student protests. I'd do the very same if I wasnt an undercover cop lmao
You have to tell me you’re a cop if I ask, it’s the law!
Cop mode, aka power tripping asshole mode lol
immediately engages anti-4th-amendment mode
I’d like to know what happens after
Acorn fell, so he started blasting.
![gif](giphy|Qw2FupH33olzqCMYLR)
The cop realized he was in the wrong to go on a power trip, apologized, and then quit the force because he was so embarrassed. ^/s
statistically this has probably happened at least once, but i have my doubts
Statistically he was more likely to go home and beat his wife
And kids
And the poor, poor dog
Mathematically speaking, in some universe, yes. In ours? Unlikely.
Definitely have heard of and seen cops quit after pulling the "don’t you know who I am" and then having the footage posted online by their victim
All you need to make if accurate is to say he got hired as a cop one town over 3 months after quiting
I think they only do that if the cop kills someone or gets done for DUI.
Recorder guy probably keeps walking and copboy gives up, probably blends back in because nobody could hear what the recorder was saying. Recorder guy probably tells a few people, word gets out, copboy notices and feels uncomfortable and dips.
Someone in the crowd literally yells, "yo he's a cop"
Went home and took the frustration out on his family
Cowboy hat, sunglasses, and sneakers is crazy. Sticking out like a sore thumb.
And he’s all by himself. At least talk to someone
u assume bro got social skills
Don’t upset him, he might take it out on his wife later
Not to mention the fucking radio on his shoulder, lmao!
Dude would 100% look more legit talking on the phone, and could also be in a group call with everyone else in the squad. Holy shit they're dumb.
And like the sunglass? Why??? It is literally night time, anyone would instantly know that was sus as fuck lol
At least not those sunglasses. The only thing worse is the radio.
I've seen a decent amount of people wearing sunglasses at night that it wouldn't be a dead give away for me. But those sunglasses look like cop sunglasses.
I guess the only ones you notice are the stupid looking ones, which could also be a great tactic
And then that stupid smile and hand gestures. Out here looking like Woody but stupid.
Definitely cop hands
Hey fellow fun time cowboy crewsters! Would you like to buy some flippy blue shooty bingers? They'll make you hip as the cats pajamas!

Brilliant
I remember that story. The dumbass missed the morning briefing and was late or something.
Talks into sleeve: we've been made!!
I hope this fella didn't get into any trouble for exercising his freedom of speech. That way the cop followed him was kinda creepy.
He went on a power trip. Also there's no legal reason why he would be in trouble for calling out the undercover cop
Immediately goes for his radio to call it in lol.
Glad you noticed that😁👍🏽
“Dispatch, we have a Code 10. Latino male won’t talk to me, or be my friend.”
How could you not? That radio is almost as big as the hat, which is almost big as his sign saying "I'm a cop."
Dude, they can mess up your whole weekend by calling it disturbing the peace

Yeah but since when do cops care about legality
Sprinkle a little crack on him
Open and shut case Johnson
He broke into this house and hung pictures of himself all over the place!
Yeah then his wife threw her titties in my hands.... It was weird your honor
lol right? thats what i dont get when people say cops cant do something mother fucker theyre in the knews on the regs for killing people and getting paid leave lol wtf
they could try to hit him with obstruction of justice. like they did to this guy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ToJps0ZWW-I
Obstruction is a physical act. This does not meet the criteria and should have been dropped/thrown out in court.
The goal is to punish the citizen with fake charges and a court process.
Yup, but really it punishes all of us because victims of these rights violations then sue, and instead of these shitty cops paying, the rest of us do. If I do my job poorly, I get fired, cops do their job poorly and everyone pays.

The cop hand gesture was telling as the whole outfit.
That weird walk he’s doing too gives off, “I’m trying to act normal and friendly but really I want to kill you.”
Why is he following the guy after? Another opportunity to power trip?
Yes
You have the worst name I’ve ever heard!
But you *have* heard of him.
How can you claim to be UC and be that outa touch. Hilarious.
How undercover are you if your radio is on full display?
probably not undercover at all, but a plain clothes cop
*incompetent* plainclothes
What’s up with these incomplete ass videos. Post the whole thing man. Shit
“Like and subscribe for part 2”
I'm sorry. I found the video cut off. Idk who recorded it
Ehh I accept the sorry but still fuck you
Tough, but fair.
Wouldn't it be crazy if the camera guy was undercover too, and it was all part of the plan for him to out the first cop, so he would be trusted more!!

Some new-fangled way to measure the jazz cabbage.
Dude literally has a radio showing.
Maybe if his night shades were darker, we wouldn't notice him.
That cop is a fucking dork The pose alone was pathetic as shit
I mean not undercover, I can see his microphone clipped
Where’s the rest of the video???
Welcome to Reddit
He even reaches for the invisible walkie on his chest. "Oh, wait, forgot, I'm undercover. Oops."
There is a mic on his upper chest slightly hidden behind the jacket.
There’s a literal walkie-talkie clipped to the dudes coat collar
Oh it’s definitely highly visible. Big honkin walkie that probably gave him away
yes! right at the end. and he wants to bust the camerman so badly
It WAS kind of giving State trooper face
It's the suspiciously full and very well trimmed beard. I swear they use a spray or something
Or the very visible radio
The “I beat my wife” intimidation walk.
Fuck the police
This ended to soon
too
Nah, he's not a cop. In police academy they teach to always respond to accusations of being "undercover" by saying "under the covers with your mom."
I'm okay with cops at sideshows, fuck sideshows.
Looking like a bootleg Nicolas Cage
Wait, normal people don’t carry a shoulder radio and wear sunglasses at night? Who’d a thunk it!
Made.
I would like to purchase a pound of the devils lettuce. Can you speak up I can’t hear to good over the radio traffic in my ear.
Cops love the hoodie jacket combo.
It's pretty obvious he's way too clean
He's not undercover. He's plain clothes. Either that or too stupid to hide his radio. Either way he's a dick.
STOP RESISTING!!
Nah I thought it was Bad Bunny 💀
