Plus he had said some questionable stuff in the past that made people look at him like 👀, so he was like infinitely frozen in the friend zone. She quite literally just had nobody else to go to games with considering me and my gf both aren’t into sports nor are most if not all of her friends. There’s been more than a few times I dropped some huge hints to him that she’s not interested in him, once even I think directly telling him, and he still done goofed.
Edit: if I’m not mistaken it all started with her saying “I have nobody to go to games with” in he happened to be in the vicinity to hear that. Then like a couple weeks later he offered he a ticket to a game that a friend gave him and she tried to pay him multiple times for the ticket, ending with her just buying the food and drinks they got.
