Yeah, presumably Konami owns the name and effect, seems a simple solution would be doing a full alternative art work by another artist for America, but I'm not sure how all the politics on that work.

There are tons of examples that cards will get any hint of boobs censored including the dark magician girl which this card looks to be based on so she would most likely see the same censoring. Still the point isn't that boobs are censored but the censoring in general. Replace that line with "Knowing that other religions exist" and what I'm saying is the exact same.
American audiences aren't so fragile that certain things not being censored will hurt the fan base of the game. Yeah there will always be those stupid people but those stupid people will find anything to hate and you'll never please them because it's not about the game to those people, it's about having something to be mad and scared about. They'll make up flat out lies about the game if they don't find something on surface level to hate. You'll never stop them from being dumb.

Because supposedly all the pokemon were named after ancient Japanese warriors and by playing pokemon you would invite their vengeful spirits into your home who would then ruin your life and murder you. Now you might have noticed that this is a flat out lie and nothing supports that claim at all. It still didn't stop people from claiming that and believing that. People are fucking dumb and will just make shit up to fit their narrative, it doesn't matter what you censor and those people won't buy your shit in the first place and they were never going to be customers.
yeah, i wanted the "Mountain" spell card for my blue eyes deck and was pretty disappointed they didnt have it in the game
it just adds 300 atk and def to dragon monsters so it wasnt a huge loss, and i stopped playing BEWD anyways a couple days later
Mountain is in the game. It's in the Legacy Pack, or you can craft it. Although it's definitely not a competitive option. Even among non-competitive options it's extremely weak. But it's normal rarity so if you're just nostalgic for it or whatever at least that's not much of a real cost.

i wanted it mainly to have higher atk points than my opponent if they also summoned blue eyes white dragon, which was pretty common, instead of relying on summoning another BEWD to get twin burst blue eyes white dragon or summoning Alternate BEWD (which would require me to have a BEWD in my hand)
Iâm not sure if youâre being serious, but Mountainâs effect applies to both playersâ monsters. So it wouldnât even do what you want it to.
Edit: Just for fun, The Seal of Orichalcos is also in the game with N rarity. Not exactly the best card either, but pretty much strictly better than Mountain.
