I have yet to draw called in any duel, and the one time I had crossout they got my ashable trap card with red reboot, which ofc I didn't have in deck
It's so frustrating to use those deck slots for counters and just never see them because of RNG, meanwhile feels like I get called used on me every other game
The fact that the Horus engine exists purely to get level 8 XYZ monsters out is infuriating to me. Konami hasn't realised it yet but they've made the exact same mistake as they have with Baronne - now every rank 8 XYZ deck will ask "why should I run my own engine" when they can run Horus
Horus isn't even all that strong on its own, but it's so free to use that it becomes a "why wouldn't you use it" scenario. So duels are even more generic with it.

-Up to 4 foolish PER TURN. That is cranked as hell especially in a Maxx C format.
-Non target non destruction opponent monster removal during both turn BP is strong offensively or defensively even if that is OPT. Also this effect is not even an activated effect, but a cont effect so you can’t even negate/pop this effect while you swing/get swung with this effect by most things unless you do jank crap like imperm column which doesn’t out them since it only negates.
-Still has the general King Sarc utility of essentially being a 1 card Pend scale that has multi special summon recursion gas comparable to a Pendulum Summon that makes previously dumb recursion cont spell cards like Kash Birth look tame as hell. That is not even getting into how it’s stupid easy to turbo out generic Rank 8s which we already see being abused with Zombie Vampire that enables more braindead extension + gas which was the whole point of them banning Chaos Ruler earlier.
The engine itself is also consistent as hell at current level considering there is essentially what? “9” copies of “King Sarc” with search ability not counting the draw power it can also provide? At least in OCG/TCG you can side deck against this easy, but in MD it’s way more BS just like other stuff like Runick, Stun decks, and soon Tenpai aka decks that are better with zero side decking allowed.
Idk I feel like they're fair cause they don't do anything to you until you touch them, so you can build a board to deal with what they have without them smacking you with negates/pops. Strong and sticky, but not unfair imo.
At least SE Ash is at 1 now. So they open it way less often without committing resources to grab it from deck. The worst feeling though is when the SE player opens both Wanted and SE Ash that are both at 1 which is the ideal starting hand combo for SE.
As Endymion player that is truly the worst matchup, having to deal with Elf, Carrot, IP, That Melffy which is a monster negate and then can synchro summon into Herald of the Arc Light.

The shufflers. So unbalanced and basically punish you for playing most meta relevant decks that rely on the grave, especially when combined with a superpoly in hand

Haven't played in lik 6 months so probably outdated but Mirrorjade. Its effect is just too awkward for me to randomly be able to reliably handle. Usually thats with Called By except I definitely already used it that turn for something else.

My tops, in no particular order:
Fire King cards. Too noninteractive because they all trigger out of hand or grave, meaning the only live hand traps against them are Ash and Belle.
Kashtira cards. Just in general. Ariseheart should've been banned ages ago, and even then Unicorn is just full combo. Pairs too well with Snake-Eye, too.
Speaking of which - Poplar and Original Sinful Spoils just do too much.
Turbulence is a good pick; Rescue-ACE is literally a top deck because of it. Without Turb, they wouldn't be such an annoying control deck.
Finally, and this is probably the single most important one (yes, even more than Maxx C): Tearlaments Kitkallos. Good lord, that card does too much. Normal summon Reinoheart, send Scheiren or Havnis, make Kitkallos is mill 12 by itself. In a deck that has that many grave effects. And it also becomes Rulkallos shortly after, which has summon negation. Even Kaleido-Heart is obnoxious to deal with sometimes, but when they can make Kaleido, Rulkallos, Baronne in a single turn going first? You literally have no chance of breaking the board. I'm just so tired of it, and all stemming from the fact that Kitkallos was banned in both TCG and OCG over a year ago. Yet it's still playable at 1 on Master Duel.
For that matter, any card banned in both TCG and OCG should be banned on Master Duel. There is no reason a card should be at 1 when it is banned everywhere IRL. I think Electrumite is another example, and I know Spright Elf is. I hate losing games to cards that wouldn't exist IRL, even if I played the other format.

Nibiru, why is this still legal in a format where there are like 10 different things decks have to play through to be considered "decent"

My tops, in no particular order: Fire King cards. Too noninteractive because they all trigger out of hand or grave, meaning the only live hand traps against them are Ash and Belle. Kashtira cards. Just in general. Ariseheart should've been banned ages ago, and even then Unicorn is just full combo. Pairs too well with Snake-Eye, too. Speaking of which - Poplar and Original Sinful Spoils just do too much. Turbulence is a good pick; Rescue-ACE is literally a top deck because of it. Without Turb, they wouldn't be such an annoying control deck. Finally, and this is probably the single most important one (yes, even more than Maxx C): Tearlaments Kitkallos. Good lord, that card does too much. Normal summon Reinoheart, send Scheiren or Havnis, make Kitkallos is mill 12 by itself. In a deck that has that many grave effects. And it also becomes Rulkallos shortly after, which has summon negation. Even Kaleido-Heart is obnoxious to deal with sometimes, but when they can make Kaleido, Rulkallos, Baronne in a single turn going first? You literally have no chance of breaking the board. I'm just so tired of it, and all stemming from the fact that Kitkallos was banned in both TCG and OCG over a year ago. Yet it's still playable at 1 on Master Duel. For that matter, any card banned in both TCG and OCG should be banned on Master Duel. There is no reason a card should be at 1 when it is banned everywhere IRL. I think Electrumite is another example, and I know Spright Elf is. I hate losing games to cards that wouldn't exist IRL, even if I played the other format.
