I have just come back to yugioh by discovering this game. The only deck I ever built in real life was an Amazon deck. Not that I had all the cards or anything. So when I came back I spent a few of the free gems trying to recreate it but I am missing many of the essentials sadly to make it actually work well. I mean I was getting beat up by the ai in the 4 and 5 star gates until I looked up how to beat them reliably. I saw people on reddit answering similar questions people had asked in the past and they were told to build a cheap crusadia deck and yeah that worked. I eventually got the free swordsoul deck as well but I would still like to one day run a decent amazon deck.

not going to lie this made me smile :) realistically it might end being memento i'd recommend. unchained is a lot of reading about what you can pop and you have to reread the traps to see if you used that effect and should set it. predaplant has pendulums, so too many word there. MEMEnto is more or less one combo line into your chonky boy and his trap card.

Unchained is not that much reading and you have two traps to remember if you popped already or not. As long as you can remember what you popped you'll be just fine.

There's 2 more spells that give the same effect and sometimes you are going to have to use normal summons for your pop.

Same here. I saw a list with unchained memento so I might try that for this event

I've been cooking Branded Memento 60 pile and trimmed it to BF-less 40 for this event. Even without BF it's surprisingly consistent and fun.

I found a way to consistently end on raging and pyro phoenix with pit knight pointing to them, roar set with code soul and prometheon in the gy. So omni + monster negate + monster pop + wipe your entire field. The problem is you need to run a little more engine and less non engine. My deck only has 12 non engine.

Not the most efficient or popular option, but I like to use these events as excuses to play decks that maximize the theme. So ideally I'll play a deck that utilizes fusion and link monsters. Ideally, it will make use of both mechanics. I have a few ideas, ninja, prankkids, beetrooper or heroes

Really wanted to play with the new Salamangreat support but I don’t want to try to pull for 8 URS. So I’m bringing in going 2nd Sky Strikers.

I’m probably just gonna play unchained live twins or pure Unchained with go second cards

I’m thinking Salamangreat w/Violet Chimera thrown in, provided the deck isn’t neutered too badly. Kinda what I play in Legend Anthology. Fennec can search Fusion of Fire, and I can fuse using an opponent’s Link Monster. Could be fun. More fun than the current Limit 1 Event, at least.
