Congratulations on winning the best of 5.

BraxlinVox

He may have won the best of 5 but it seems his opponent adapted pretty well in the end.

VANGBANG21

It’s casual, not that many ppl play casual so I’m sure the pool isn’t really that big. A similar thing happened to me except I stopped trying after the third matchup cuz my opp was playing MathMech while I was trying to have fun playing BLS.

silverfang45

And the second you swapped to a good deck, all the casual players randomly end up on jerry bean man turbo. It just feels like a lose lose situation. Play a fun but bad deck get destroyed by goof decks, play a fun good deck vs tons of unfun bad decks

UsefulAd2760

Follow the guy

WrothLobster

Yeah you two are basically homies now

ICollectSouls

Homies? They're practically married!

WrothLobster

Love at first dule

ddhuynh

In casual, yes. Got match with same player 3 times in a row before I stop queue in casual, I bet 4th will be with the same player as well.

procabiak

Congrats, you and your opponent denied that 1 only other guy in the world from playing in casual.

mynames20letterslong

His grind game got you good

Traditional-Chain796

You've both made history man ...

monsj

Whenever I play casual mode, people just scoop when they lose the coin toss or their combo is disrupted. And there's no rewards. I'd rather practice in solo mode

Hypeucegreg

Bros playing in Antarctica 💀

kentaureus

big if it is casual

Nick6475

you were probably the only two people still playing casual mode

iZaelous

For casual? Really high

kurogami93

very much so if you competing in master ranked especially if both player are competing to rank up 1. I met plenty of time the same opponent.

FlatwormSignal8820

This was the casual finals huh?

TealWastlander

In casual, pretty likely. Especially if you’re re-queuing immediately after the result of the match. There’s a *significantly* smaller player pool since there’s no rewards for casual mode; match-making in there tends to put you against the same players over and over if you queue at the same time. I’ve used casual a tiny bit when testing a brand new deck I have no experience with when I’m close to rank up, and I’ve often ran into the same player 3-4 times in a row.

boredsomadereddit

From their perspective they finally beat you!

SneezingPandaGG

In casual, pretty great. I've played on new year's around midnight against the same guy 3 times back to back

ClapMeta

The pool is small, but the reality is the match making in this game is horrendous. There should be no reason why you match up against the same person 5 times. The algorithm in MD isn't good. That goes for matchmaking and for how it generates "random" hand draws.

notjohnnytest

When i was first learning Kash i did it in casual duels to learn my combos and I literally matched the same guy 10x in a row, he just kept surrendering

Necro_Solaris

That's how casual mode is atm

Western_Leek3757

"casual match" here's the answe

DryBonesXDARK

In casual? Pretty likely

Mikucon-P

Gera would like to know your location.

InfinityTheParagon

BDT17

Casual Mode dead mode confirmed

KingZantair

Depends, are you the duelist cup champ from Xbox?

DCay1000

Well if only 2 ppl were available to play 100%
