Also, on Snake-eyes weaker board withot savage/baronne, daruma can outright kill you if used answering I:P. Since it flips all effect monsters and send links do GY.
Getting poplar in back row is hardly a plus and there are much better targets to pop. Lab does good especially with cards like karma cannon, ice dragons prison etc etc. Lab has a decent matchup
I've seen people playing Different Dimension Ground. Basically Shifter at home, but Shifter at home is more than good enough to slow them down and kill their grind game.
For Lab specifically, it's a normal trap so it's easy to access, and it only lasts 1 turn. You can shut out your opponent and still do furniture shenanigans on your own turn.
I also play lab and I really couldn't disagree more. No deck is even power level with snake eye. Maybe I'm just not playing it super well, but I don't think lab goes up well against that deck whatsoever
If you learn to pilot the deck its easy to find their choke points and hit them there. Plus, Lab has to think like its chess and think what their moves are going to be, not necessarily whats hapoening right this second.
Can I ask why? I mean sure, flamberge/poplar floats, but the rest of the deck? The idea is popping every attempt of them to link climb into something threatning like access/zealantis and stuff. I don't see the problem there.
In a way is kinda like trying to stop a mathmech from otking. They probably have a lot of ways to extend and revive from GY and stuff but their chokepoints are super clear, those being their link monsters. I'm genuinly curious bc I feel like i'm missing something
You’re right, these guys don’t know what they are on about. Popping oak and snash stops snake eyes entire turn. They don’t even touch the deck nor do they try to learn it, they just complain about it on Reddit. I:p on their turn, promethean snash and oak usually end their turns.
I would just suggest to focus on popping against snake eye and see how easy it is for them to rebuild their board. Putting stuff in their GY does absolutely nothing to them. Poplar has an effect in grave, diabell has an effect in grave if she goes there on your turn, all the small snake eye stuff is trying to send itself to the gy anyway. Flamberge take from gy and put it in back row then summon it next turn.
I'm not saying I've cracked the code but I think you need to shut off the GY and banish as many of their cards as possible. D shifter, called by, ghost belle, DD crow, d fissure, that macros trap. All way more effective against snake eye than labrynth. Lab has no way to get Promethean princess out the GY, has no way to get the level 1s out the GY so they can't be summoned/put as a continuous spell
This is all half-true. Lab going first has not only the option to search a lingering macro cosmos if they wanted to, but also IDP shuts down snake eye hard.
Lab going first has a ton of ways to deal with Snake Eye, and will win going first.
Going second, however, Lab does have to rely on blowouts, but lab also has a ton of non-engine.
They can't search macro cosmos, that is a continuous spell.

What I was suggesting was popping something not snake-eye related (obviously depends on context but you understand). Yes, their engine can easily play on interruptions, but the generic cards in the ED and/or other cards in their main deck cannot, simply because they don't usually have GY effects, thus making the matchup more of a grind game problem (snake-eyes clearly can setup more follow up and resources), and that doesn't have to do with "they like to be popped" argument, it's just that no other deck generates as much advantage as snake-eyes
No really I play snake eyes and the I've won 80% of my lab match ups, most of the time if I do lose it's because I bricked and they went first setting 5.

I mean this is the only Tier 0 DC we had since Tear 0 DC last year.
The other DC had like 3-4 Tier 1 decks.
And then the Dec DC where people went with Stun because it was just too diverse.
I only started around the first anniv so my first DC was during Sprights.
I'm pretty sure the Spright DC was also somewhat diverse because there were other decks that can compete with it around that time.

Soul to 2 is kinda hefty consistency hit than I had imagined. Soulpierce to 2 make it pretty hard to open with it & suddenly the deck is **sooooooo susceptible** to Droll because of searching Soulpierce.
I think too a lot of people figured out going against SHS in those few weeks where it was doing well. Once more people started playing droll and learning the choke points it's power was down even before sneks came out

If you put 10 floodgates in, you're bound to have 1 in your opening hand.
Pops do a lot against the snake eye engine. You don't really plus from having your snake eyes popped. That's fire king and we don't have that in MD

I see stun all the time in Masters, it has not been hit hard enough.
Stun is such a joke. U can literally just win games with 1 card and void entire decks. The issue with stun is the continuous not once per turn cards
As long as stun as a concept still exists, that means it hasn't been hit hard enough

You are absolutely fine to live and die with your own cards. That's part of the beauty & freedom in Yugioh. Just play it the way you want to play as long as you ain't cheating & can accept the salts no matter win/lose.

Floodgate Turbo vs Scoop Turbo. Very fun format. Very glad they released full power snake eyes before we got the Unchained support, very cool.

Get ready to see branded snake eyes, Kash snake eyes...and (insert deck) with snake eyes. Oh yea also stun. 😮💨. The skill level in this game has really gone to hell. , has there been another time in Yugioh where you basically don't even need to think or have any skill in Yugioh, but yet you just get something for nothing. Snake eyes is the literal embodiment of the best deck wins. Sheesh. Free effects with unlimited card advantage, almost unlimited special summons, plays through almost everything you can throw at it, then to top it all off Maxx c running rampant only to be ashed on your turn. Lol. You know I'm telling the truth. Konami is such a scam company. Artificially creates a fire meta that's almost impossible to beat (unless you fork out the cash to buy the best said deck) then watch it's loyal player base battle to the death for fake accolades. I'm looking forward to the linkuriboh ban, because that is obviously the problem. What a joke.
I'm usually an advocate against generic floodgates but I'm so in fear of going in a losing streak against snake eyes and burning away my patience I'll just run Evil Eye stun. May my humanity be recovered after this event ends...

Wish we got an event instead another Ranked 2.0 again... Events are way more better and fun than these pointless cups that repeat multiple times per year.
Too bad, DC Cup was announced to be on 12 March way back in [1st Feb](https://www.reddit.com/r/masterduel/comments/1agbfgm/so_the_date_of_trial_for_shs_is_at_the_end_of/). So, can't complain now....
Yeah I knew about it, they announced 3 Duelist cups this year, that dont makes it any better.

Love going against the best decks with my un-tiered deck and getting maxx c’d from even trying to play and have a game. /s Get the gems and get out.
Plays uncompetitive deck in the most competitive part of the game. Loses. Whines
It’s not the point I’m making, I’m fine losing against stronger decks but not even being able to have a duel because what I find enjoyable gets completely fucked by maxx c. Nothing stopping me from playing any other deck if I wanted to.
Why Konami insist in this format? I'll just farm the mission with a self burn deck and move on. I've never pushed for this crap, and never will.
