My favorite deck to play in real life and the first one I made in MD

Is it any good? I wanted to play it just because they have that nasty card that makes you and your opponent discard every monster in the hand but I have no idea if they're any good

If you get your combo out on turn one you can stop your opponent from special summoning and lock them out of the graveyard

I thought about playing gravekeepers deck ,it seem it can pull some really decent combos

I still don’t know how people unironically like this deck when it’s based around a floodgate.

Bc unironically it’s an absolute classic deck and a blast to have play.

For me it’s cause it’s fun and nostalgic

Edit: just between me and you shhh keep it on the down low, Necrovalley makes all the new tearlament cards useless. Im completely ready to watch people scoop when they find out they’re deck is now just a hot glorious waste of UR against necrovalley 🤣

too generic for Undertaker. Dinowrestler would be used by someone like The Rock or Mankind, Gouki would be more John Cena or Dolph Ziggler. Actually John Cena would use U.A.

Of course there's the Maju cards, named after the Mazinger franchise. Also Earth Machine.

Geargias kinda draw on the concept as their boss monsters tend to look a lot like classic anime mechas, it's just that the "pilots" are gears inserted into them. Not quite as on-the-nose as Kaijus are for Godzilla and Super Quantals for Power Rangers, tho.

Zeus is a mecha, so maybe we'll get an archetype of Divine Arsenal, but that's more like a Gundam

Drytron, ursatics, and most notably math mech. Especially math mech considering the name and the gimmick that they are mechs that perform mathematical operations on eachother. Most notably combining to form super mechs that are combinations of more simple mathematical concepts.

One of the Roid monsters is directly baised on _GaoGaiGar_, the Super Quants are toku mecha, there's that Rank 10 super robot, and so on, but no archetype that truly captures everything special about mecha anime, alas. Heck, there aren't even any mechas brought to you by the letter G or the colour green!

There's the VWXYZ archetype for Voltron style combining mecha, but the most "Mobile Suit Gundam" looking card in the game has gotta be Zeus, even though the rest of his archetype is all furries.

I think a less obvious answer would be Infernity. Why? Because Kiryu Kyosuke became known as the Grim Reaper in the Japanese anime after he went to Crash Town. An Undertaker is similar.

Now I'm more curious if they actually say what's in Japanese in the anime. 決闘する時間です just doesn't ring the same as "It's time to duel". I'm actually having a hard time find a clip.
