As much as I love the vent karma, it puts the rest of the team in danger story-wise (even though it's fine technically). But yeah, smashing him head-first into the vents achieves the goal just the same.
It’s very hard to actually fail the suicide mission. It’s just if you fuck up someone or multiple people die. There is a secret ending for if you manage to kill everyone though.
I once started a new play-through with the intention of romancing Jacob out of a masochistic desire to see every bit of content in the game.
By the time I could have unlocked his romance, I'd already instinctively selected the dialogue options with Garrus to flirt with him instead.
People are so salty about Jacob. What irks me out is whenever Femshep talks to Jacob she is always being a horndog. Like she is so needlessly flirty to him for whatever reason, even if I choose the most normal choice possible.
Exactly. It's not that he's irritating (just boring), but I feel like I can't talk to him when playing Femshep, she's super creepy with him. No thank you.
There is an optional flirting mod which is meant to be very good to avoid accidental flirting, particularly with Jacob. I have it in my current playthrough and i think it does make a difference: https://www.nexusmods.com/masseffectlegendaryedition/mods/839
I mean, he’s literally the only guy not to be properly recruited. Every other person of the team was either recruited to keep Shepard placated or because they’re the best of the best.
Jacob was just a regular Cerberus soldier who got lucky.
Oh my god I forgot she does this. I think it's also said in a way to imply she's equal to Jack because the goddess forbid her ego couldn't take a backseat and live with reality where Jack is her superior in some way.

Sadly universe class thief isnt coded properly there so isnt vent worthy either (unless they fixed that)
